I live in this area, and Sheringham is actually my favourite seaside town. It's closer to Weybourne and Clay and is a bit more down to earth. Idon't know where you're travelling from but Norwich is about an hour away from all these places but you can get the train from Sheringham. The area also has quite a few open garden events over the summer which might interest you or your patents.

Blakeney Hotel or Morston Hall ( if they're foodies)
BH has lovely terrace to watch the world go by, swimming pool ( indoor and heated) MH very tranquil but close to coast road so accessible. Both have lovely hosts and you'll be well looked after.

Hollhan Beach is a hike through dunes from the car parking at Lady Anne's Drive, busy or not you can't park next to the beach here or at Wells. Wells has walkable path though or mini steam train to beach - still need to negotiate dune path so much guy not be easily accessible. Will take you an hour or so to drive from Blakeney to Norwich, longer from Holkham. Seaside wise you'll be better with Sheringham or Cromer if you just want to look at it!

Sheringham Parks beautiful when the rhododendrons are in flower. Hunstanton makes a nice trip. Fakenham. Sandringham. We love all these. Hanging about eating fish and chips and ice creams.
