Accommodation in London in August with 3 children-aid there anyway I can do this without taking a second mortgage??

I would be really, really grateful for any tips on reasonably priced accommodation in London for a family of 5. We want to go for a Saturday night in August. I've just been looking online and it seems we might need 2 rooms because we have 3 children - youngest is 1 though, would he count as a person? Most of the places I've seen cost the same as a week away elsewhere!

Some uni halls offer great rates on their unoccupied halls? There is one a stones throw from the British museum I seem to recall, tho I can't remember if the cost is per room or per person
