Just what is there to do in and around Westgate, Kent?

Boys are 8 and 6. I'm sure they will be fine. They have sand.

But what can I do here other than be absorbed into a good book?

I like art and creative stuff.

Help please.

Grin Yes to calling the baby Turner! Awesome update; not what I was expecting.

HanSolo · 26/02/2014 23:14

Ha! That will teach you! Shock

nevergoogle · 26/02/2014 23:15

It's not what I was bloody expecting.

Found this thread and it made me smile.

DebbieOfMaddox · 26/02/2014 23:16

Congratulations! I mean, I think I've congratulated you on other threads, but I hadn't connected you back to this one before now.

I hadn't noticed the date of the OP. There I was thinking it was just an innocuous dull holiday thread!

Congrats Cake Thanks

nevergoogle · 26/02/2014 23:18

yes, sorry, i resurrected a zombie thread, but i felt there was a lesson we could all learn here, and that is that you should always follow the advice on mumsnet and not go off-piste with your own hairbrained plans.

If only you'd taken up the suggestion of the steam train...

You amorous whippersnappers Wink

magentastardust · 26/02/2014 23:23

Brilliant! Congratulations.

DebbieOfMaddox · 26/02/2014 23:24

You did say that you were seduced there. We just naturally assumed that you meant "persuaded to go on holiday" whereas you meant it literally...

mistlethrush · 26/02/2014 23:26

A friend who had just had her 3rd daughter said 'I'm never going on holiday without the children in February again' having had 3 daughters, all with birthdays in October, each of which were over 12lbs at birth... luckily the third was on-time rather than late and was 'only' 12lbs Grin

needthemoney · 26/02/2014 23:33

nevergoogle · 26/02/2014 23:35

Call the baby Kent. Pronounced in a special estuary accent with swallowed vowels.
