Has anyone ever experienced this?

This used to happen when I was young - under the age of 10.

I would always be by myself when it happened. It's hard to describe but basically all of a sudden I would be in this bright white light and blissfully, joyfully happy, nothing like ordinary happiness, even for a child.

It was only for a split second, but during that time I became unaware of my surroundings. There was just the light and a blissful, euphoric feeling.

Then it was over.

It happened several times over the course of my early childhood, then stopped after the age of 10. I've tried asking my kids if they'd ever experienced this, but they had no idea what I was talking about.

Just wondering how common this is and if it's happened to anyone else?

I'm a spiritualist and even I think this is neurological.

You can want to be interesting and different OP. It doesn’t change the fact that you appear to have had epilepsy as a child.

I have epilepsy, what you are describing is an aura and is a common symptom. Be grateful you grew out of it, it's a difficult condition to manage.
