London Protest Police Horse which Bolted

I am not able to load the videos of what happened due to dodgy internet connection, I have seen some photos. Can anyone update on the condition of the horse? The poor thing looked looked so frightened, am concerned for the horse and it's rider. There are also conflicting reports that the horse trampled a protestor, and another that a protestor was bitten.

The wink was an accident , sorry.

TopBitchoftheWitches · 10/06/2020 17:18

Police horses are huge.

I don't know why the police just don't take the dogs out there in full force, they take no shit and most people won't try anything faced with a rottweiler or gsd.

Pleased the officer seems ok.

Honeyroar · 10/06/2020 21:11

The wink was an accident. Only the wink? The rest of the post seemed a bit silly too. But yeah, of course I meant like a garden sprinkler.😏

FabulouslyElegantTits · 10/06/2020 21:41

@shiny 🤣🤣 💦

ShinyFootball · 11/06/2020 16:07

TopBitch and if they do, how many people will be comfortable seeing police dogs tearing into people?

ShinyFootball · 11/06/2020 16:08

Honeyrule I have posted the reasons the UK government don't use water cannons and some of the injuries that can be done with them.

Your response is 'turn them down a bit'. And I'm silly?

Honeyroar · 11/06/2020 16:14

Do you know someone is suing the police over their injuries from the loose horse?

And you’re so patronising in your replies, that’s where you come across as silly. You haven’t even quoted my username correctly.

ShinyFootball · 11/06/2020 16:16

Why would they sue?

ShinyFootball · 11/06/2020 16:22

Oh I see. Well that's up to them isn't it. If you were protesting peacefully as is our right and you get injured by the police then you can sue if you want. Doesn't mean you'll win though.

I note you are commenting on my tone not on what I actually said.

Honeyroar · 11/06/2020 17:26

Of course I’m commenting on what you say, as well as how you say it.

ShinyFootball · 11/06/2020 19:14

Ok so have you looked into whether water cannons can be 'turned down' and whether if that is done they would have the same deterrent effect?

You believe the UK government is wrong not to use them, given their reasons for not doing so?

TopBitchoftheWitches · 12/06/2020 16:22

@Shinyfootball only just seen your reply, police dogs do not tear into people, they bite them to bring them down. If people aren't doing anything wrong then they have nothing to worry about. The dogs are very intelligent and highly trained, they won't bite unless needed.

ShinyFootball · 12/06/2020 18:18

I've never seen police dogs deployed in a riot I admit. I'm just not sure when confronted with that kind of mayhem they'd be able to hang onto their training.

I'm also surprised at the attempt to frame being bitten by a massive dog as not really all that bad.

ShinyFootball · 12/06/2020 18:24

There's loads of images on Google, really interesting.
