I was just on Teacher Tapp and found the results from this poll pretty horrifying: 15% of teachers polled don’t disagree with the statement “I believe the moon landings from 1969 to 1972 were actually a hoax”.

What now? Nearly 1 in 6 of us??

Let's leave it to the scientists and engineers etc to do their jobs else we would not progress in finding things like cures for cancer. If one had to completely verify based on first principles and judgement every single piece of 'fact....well honestly the world advancement will regress. It just wouldn't be practical or realistic. I wouldn't even try to explain blockchain technology and it's disruption to the finance and other industries because you wouldn't be able to prove the Maths, let alone understand it (so Blockchain to you would not be a fact, whilst we as a country could lose out on millions if we don't keep up) Let's keep this as a school staff philosophical debate (yes sorry that I can't get NASA scientists to teach in schools).
