I'ts wonderful to see Harry & Meghan happy & smiling & back in the UK supporting their charities.

Regardless whether people agree or disagree with their return, like all families we may not always agree,we may even fall out for long periods of time. The important thing is finding it in our hearts to forgive while leaving bitterness in the past. Above all we must consider the unforgiving legacy we may leave behind & the children who can never be happy & fulfilled being brought up within a fueding family.

Gosh it sounds like Meghan’s father is totally vile and criminal to boot. No wonder she wants nothing to do with him.

A source close to Meghan told The Sun: “Now maybe people will finally understand why she has had nothing to do with her father since 2018.”
Thomas Jnr told police he discovered “hundreds, if not thousands” of child sex abuse images in four large boxes at his father’s home.
Cops investigating the Duchess of Sussex’s estranged dad are now preparing to seize the evidence.
Horrified Thomas Jnr, Meghan’s half-brother, reported their father to detectives in the Philippines after making the sickening find at his home in the city of Cebu.

Beyond belief.

Thomas Jnr told The Sun after submitting his sworn statement to child abuse police in the Philippines tonight: “When I found this material I was horrified and I had no option but to report my dad.
“I have supported, cared for him and helped him for years — but that stops now.
“I won’t speak to my father ever again unless I’m called to give evidence against him.”
He triggered the investigation after searching for a phone for his Filipino girlfriend’s father in boxes of Thomas Snr’s belongings.
He told friends he was shocked and disgusted when a 15-minute video of naked little girls flashed up on the abandoned LG mobile.
Victims appearing to be aged no older than ten or 11 appeared in sex acts captured on video along with three still pictures of naked and scantily clad girls of about the same age.
Thomas Jnr alleges one of the sick images on the phone was a photo taken of the screen of a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop that was in a room he recognised in his father’s former home in Rosarito, Mexico.
The shocked son — the retired TV lighting director’s carer after he suffered a life-threatening stroke in 2022 — told pals he was left a “shaking wreck” by the discovery.
He confided to one: “What I saw made me sick to the stomach — all this stuff was just dumped on me and I didn’t know what to do.
“I knew right away it was highly illegal and would land me in jail for a long time if I didn’t get rid of it. I felt betrayed, angry and disgusted — and realised I had to report him.”
On July 10, he reported his discovery to the FBI Hotline, the US-based National Centre for Exploited and Missing Children and the state police in Pennsylvania where his father was living.
But his anxiety grew in the weeks that followed as he received no calls or follow-up inquiries — and he decided to steel himself to check the remaining contents.
He retrieved the four large brown cardboard boxes from storage and enlisted the help of a local IT expert to help him access three computer hard drives.
Thomas Jnr told his pal: “There was an unbelievable amount of stuff — old family home movies on VHS cassettes, books, nine mobile phones, along with the Emmy Awards he won for his TV work.
“But there were also many more worrying items which I’d never seen before — old books that turned out to be full of naked little girls.
“Then the technician helped me turn on the first hard drive and I gasped when all of the icons suddenly appeared.
“His desktop was full of row- upon-row of thumbnail pictures linking to the most sickening child abuse imaginable. The worst of the worst.”
Preschool kids including toddlers either captured nude or engaged in horrifying sex acts were among the files stored on the hard drive.
More images of a man engaged in a sex act with a very young Asian girl appeared to have been stored in the pages of an antique book called “Lewis Carroll Photographs Of Children: Four Nude Studies.”
Another developed film negative showed two more naked schoolgirls.

Thomas Markle Jr did the right thing by reporting it to police as soon as he found such material. It must have been a shock.

KatherineParr · 22/10/2026 23:27

It's absolutely disgusting. I'm lost for words. What a shock for all his children, especially Tom Jr who found the images.

valeriy2 · 22/10/2026 23:30

I can't start to imagine what his children will think of him - utterly vile. The story is all over the Sun in numerous articles so they must have lawyered all over before printing.

This is really horrible and I feel very sorry for his family.

I don’t understand where he was living? I thought he was in the Philippines but it says Jr reported to the police in Pennsylvania?

Now in the Mail and they are claiming exclusive.

But the family erupted in fury over the claims, with Meghan's half-sister Samantha accusing her brother Thomas Jr, 60, of inventing the story to make money - even suggesting their father had been framed.

https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-16231535/Meghan-Markles-father-Thomas-probed-child-abuse-photos-daughter-Samantha-lies.html

But Samantha, Meghan's sister, furiously hit back last night, branding her brother's allegations about their father as 'disgusting' and 'having no merit in them whatsoever'.
Ms Markle, 61, who is her father's main caregiver, called her brother a 'liar' and claimed he was making up the allegations to make money.
Samantha said the Sun's story is factually incorrect. The accusations claim the boxes were found 'at Tom's house in the Phillipines'.
Samantha said: 'That is not factually true. The computers were packed up in Mexico and put on a cargo ship. They were then in storage in the basement of a building in the Philippines. Dad had no access to them. The boxes were then in Tom Jr's house. Dad had no access to those computers for two years. Who knows who could have had access to them? I don't believe any of it. Anyone could have set dad up.'
She said: 'There is no merit in these disgusting allegations whatsoever and my brother is disgusting for making them up. He wants to destroy our dad. Shame on him.
'My brother first came out with these lies a few weeks ago when the cash from my dad was cut off. He has used dad as a cash cow for years and once the money stopped he made up the most outrageous lies he could to try and make money from the media.'
Samantha added that her father's computers were out of his possession for two years.
She said: 'There is no proof my dad downloaded any images. Those computers were out of his possession for two years. That leaves a lot of room for tampering. These are unsubstantiated allegations. Anyone could have been in contact with those computers over a couple of years. Dad was in a rehabilitation facility and did not have access to those computers.'

Everyone ditches on them but when something like this happens I note they always have more details than most publications. Especially if the new is US related.

TheOvertGardener · 22/10/2026 23:54

I hope for all of their sakes this is just as Samantha suggested. I would not wish this on any family.

🤔
I'm sure the FBI will take Samantha's questions and concerns seriously and they will form part of the investigation.

Reading further, these items were found in Philippines. Samantha also says they were in a storage facility there for two years after being sent on a cargo ship.

I guess FBI will question Markle Sr since he is in the US now but not sure they have much standing.

Bloody hell, what a shower of misfits the Markles are. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if it is discovered it is actually the nasty son’s stash.

What an idiotic comment from Meghan, claiming that is the reason she cut off contact with him 8 years ago, jeez talk about jumping the gun only to realize it’s not exactly the kind of admission that is going to give you the glory points you expected.

According to the source they are basically saying Meghan knew about this from 2018 and didn’t inform the authorities? Even anonymously?

Wouldn’t surprise me either. Hasn’t TM junior made up lies about Meghan? Didn’t he claim she had a hysterectomy so the children couldn’t be hers?

Wafflesandcoffee · 23/10/2026 06:52

I’m not sure this helps her case. If she knew what was going on, surely the question is what she did about it. Especially as the current story is that the son acted immediately. Reminding everyone that she hasn’t had anything to do with her father since 2018 doesn’t really answer that, it just sounds like she didn’t act on things when she should have. I‘m not commenting on if that’s what’s really happened, but the statement certainly makes it sound like that.

SiegfriedSassoon · 23/10/2026 10:11

I'm just trying to work out how the timeline of Thomas jr reporting on dad in early July, the investigation beginning when.. August? And how it fits in with the very sudden dash to the UK.

How exactly should she have acted? She was assured by the Police of an investigation- what else should she have done? Genuinely asking

She could have asked what authorities were informed. Gotten a case number. Followed up.

Not saying she should or shouldn’t because I don’t feel like getting into it. But that’s what she could have done.
