Im DELIGHTED Piers Morgan is taking legal action against Spencer.

Morgan is a wealthy man with I suspect much more liquid capital than Spencer - but since Spencer has admitted the libel and grudgingly apologised Morgan cannot loose.
He wants every book pulled and pulped plus a significant donation to The Kings Trust (oh, the delicious irony!!) -DH thinks that the books will be pulled and a retraction/amendment pasted into them , but either way it’s going to affect sales and cost the publisher a fortune. The cost which will I suspect be passed onto Spencer. What an utterly stupid libel to make. Not such a great historian as he boasts he is! What were the ‘fact checkers’ doing??
I suspect Spencer won’t make a penny piece from this and has also burned his bridges with William. I don’t think he will get an invite to William’s coronation now.
Harry should have distanced himself from this book if he wanted any chance of any relationship for himself and his children with any of the Windsor Family .
But, as ever, they have sided with the wrong side - no thought, no long distance plan. I don’t think that any of the family -on either side- or many friends will have much to do with Harry’s ‘anniversary documentary’ on Diana.
Surely they will have seen how the exploitation of Diana by her brother has not been well received by the public. Who would want to be tarnished by this?

I don’t think the King looks well . I think he has aged hugely in the last 2years.
I feel dreadfully sorry for him. And, I don’t think he will ever see Harry again.

im not sure if there is another reason apart from securidee why HaM have temporarily moved back here or if there is something about to rear its head -time will tell and these threads will continue apace for some time I fear. To be fair, I’ve seen clips on TikTok where the kids are engaging with him. They are smiling and laughing, including the lad who said what he did.

I imagine he will be disciplined at school if he has said this. Most academies have zero tolerance on swearing in the classroom. At my kids school, which is an academy, it can be up to a week in isolation if you swear in the classroom depending on the circumstances and the behaviour leading up to it. They don’t let that sort of behaviour go. When people visit the school and hold special sessions, the kids are told that even higher behaviour standards of behaviour are expected as they are representing the school, My children’s school wouldn’t be impressed with this. Kids who behave like that are also very disruptive to the rest of the class..

And the team should certainly have NEVER let that footage be released. For the child's sake.

You seem more bothered about the child possibly swearing and being disciplined for it than the racism that's being directed at him.

If there is any racism at school, the school will try to deal with it by education and punishments. They also deal with disruption like swearing in classrooms which I see as a good thing. You're saying that that child who seemed to behave perfectly reasonably when Harry was there, but was caught saying he wasn't comfortable with 6 cameras in his face and swore after Harry had moved on, is as bad as a racist?
And how do you know he's disruptive?
He did nothing disruptive there - he expressed his feelings when Harry bumbled off elsewhere.

I'm watching Piers on Kevin o s at the minute 😅 piers demanding the book is pulped. Publishers will have to reprint. Charles S will certainly not make a huge fortune after all

I don’t agree with kids photos or video footage of them being online. The first thing I did when my kids started school was refused all photography and videos of them being published anywhere including newslettters and the school website. All children should be protected and I don’t think it makes kids less safe if they appear online. I suppose some parents would be keen for their kids to meet a Royal. 😬

It’s not reasonable for a child to swear in class. I’m saying my own kids find badly behaved kids who their disrupt lessons with bad behaviour as annoying as the kids that display racist behaviour to them. They’re often the same children anyway at my children’s school.

It is disruptive to swear in a classroom. At my kids school, it’s not tolerated at all, even when the teacher/adult is walking away. If it’s heard, it’s disciplined. Academies are usually shit hot on swearing….oh and on correct shoes! Cos priorities right.

If he was my child, I’d never have allowed him to be filmed and I don’t think the school should allow filming at all.

The other night I pointed out that it sounded like he says fuck off but someone said he says, "there are 6 cameras in my face, am I supposed to be calm" and when I listened again with that in mind I could totally hear it. Either way, picking on a random child to deflect attention from Harry acting like a manic weirdo is a strange choice tbh

I can't see that the publisher can do anything other than pull the versions of the book with the error. CS has admitted the error and apologised for it, not pulling it would seem to leave them open to damages.

I think the suggested way forward from Piers M is sensible and the choice of charity is very funny!
