FWIW, this is the 'statue' of Harry that was given to sign by the WellChild winner. Some of the articles make it sound as if the child brought the figurine for him to sign rather than it being given to him as a 'prize'.

Someone on the previous thread posted this very helpful article by a UK security company with expert knowledge. It is easy to read but complicated but my take away was that a review of hams security status will be made as their residence status has changed. They are now resident full time in the UK. Previously they were resident in the USA and were required to give notice of any visits requiring state funded security. Each visits security needs was decided on its merits. As no one was informed of their change to full time residence until after the event and as their status is that of private citizens their situation will be reviewed sometime early October when the committee next meets.

Absolutely. That child has been plastered all over the internet and become a news story himself, just for an aside to his mates. This is why classrooms aren’t full of cameras. Harry could have done this without being filmed, but then what would the point of that be for his PR drive.

I really hope there’s some comeback for H on this; given he’s now a private citizen he can’t be given permission for this sort of controversial, self serving arsing around, with the full compliance of those in responsible positions.

LOL, I know. I think the head on the Harry one is the same head that was used on the HAM Funkos for their wedding. There are Funkos of quite a few members of the Royal Family, including the late QEII and Diana. Funko Pops are quite a 'collectors' thing here in the US. There are Funkos for sports figures, literary characters (HP for example), and movie & gaming franchise characters.

I'm not a collector or a 'Funko Fan', but I was given Funkos by my son 'for fun' of Mickey Mouse and Mookie Betts as I'm a Disney AND a Dodgers fan.

Is it a HaM PR disaster that Earl Spencer has apparently apologised already to Piers Morgan for the defamation in his book? Anyway Morgan is continuing his legal action because he wants the book changed and a donation to the King’s Trust.
