surely as a danger-aware person in a crowded environment who needs CPO at all times you'd be wanting your own defensive capabilities.

I suspect the last thing a genuine CPO would want is their principal tooled up with anything, for all sorts of reasons (both practical and legal).

However I would agree that if that really is a bodyguard of some sort carrying the baggage we can assume the perceived threat level is close to zero.

I thought he looked a bit ‘dressed down’ to be a security guard but who else would it be?

Kelly’s ‘staff’ maybe?

I have no idea, could acually but a real gofor, but of course regardless of that you don't want "protection" being routinely dressed on a way that makes them easy to spot....

You do ideally want them hands free, though.

DappledGoldenCrow · 22/09/2026 11:14

And Meghan only truly exists when she has a camera on her. Otherwise she's just a probability wave with a sense of grievance.

@Fracle, I salute you ❤

Oh yes, that's exactly why I made the point a few posts back that if the bag carrier is protection there's obviously a perception amongst the team that there's no threat,.or not a very significant one, where/when the image was taken.

The kid’s award was a little statue of Harry?!

Sounds like it?! A ‘Harry’ - a perfect gift for an unwell child, a signed figurine of a man who only gives a shit about himself and repeatedly ignores other people’s consent boundaries and feelings and tells lies for money. He even uses his own kids as status markers.

You never know, that bag might have a couple of bricks in it that he could use to swing at a potential attacker. If it's anything like mine, having a Glock in it would be no use because it would be buried under all the tissues and books and phone and spare bag for life etc etc and by the time he got it out it would be too late.

That's absolutely absurd. How the f* could he think that's a good idea ??

BemusedAmerican · 22/09/2026 11:31

Glocks are very heavy - I've actually used one ( went to shooting range with relative on Ladies Night several years ago). Whacking someone with a bag containing an unloaded Glock will knock them out.

I watch Kinsey Schofield with Body Language Expert Scott Rouse last night. Scott analysed CS. He didn't know who CS was but was very critical about him.

hesterscrestcake · 22/09/2026 11:44

Ahead of the ceremony, Harry met the winners, where he signed a miniature figure of himself.😬😂😅😆That's terrible. So inappropriate

Starryfifty · 22/09/2026 11:51

Piers taking legal action. This will surely discredit CS and won't do proposed Diana Doc any favours either. Let's hope HAM have a plan b, c, d

Nothing you say can justify your post.

Why on earth are you targeting me and pursuing this? I’ve expressed a view which you don’t share. I don’t need (or wish) to justify it.

Wouldn't that presuppose the existence of a Plan A?

I mean, it's terrible now. But it could also age really badly. Just imagine if AMW had done this, thirty years ago, and there were now little signed Andy figurines knocking around... it would be like Chucky.

Especially as Harry’s signature looks like a penis.

I’ve seen someone commenting on Twitter that after 20 years of being involved with WellChild he cannot clearly say what they do. He’s not well informed. He made that silly comment about ‘training up’ a neighbours neighbour to leave your very unwell child with so you can go on a ‘date night’.
Nothing about fighting for proper caters and respite. I know people who get funding for assistance but they can’t find people to do it. He’s utterly clueless and spoiled.

Starryfifty · 22/09/2026 12:10

I want to see this h figurine

My sister in law gave us a load of books when my daughter was born 16 years ago. One tbe parenting books was a Bill Cosby book 😳 🤣

He can't even take time out to research. He's utterly lazy and useless.
