What kind of a life is this in middle age? Relying on rich people for housing and travel expenses.
Embarrassing.

What is she supposed to be doing then? Wearing a sack cloth and wailing and keening until 4pm?

The kids are in school. She doesn’t have washing, ironing, housework to do. It’s a sunny day. Her friend is in town.

I’m not going to judge her for going out to lunch in a school day.

Don’t then, no-one’s asking you to.

I have sat through Dan W video. H at the school. It's quite obvious he's off his face. He should not have been allowed near the school. He was making breast jokes too wtf ???

2 young girls on that table he is making breast comments and actions. That is straying into uncle AMW territory for me. As a young teenager I would have been mortified, some scruffy old, balding git bouncing around looking at me making boob gestures, grim and pervy. Schools are supposed to teach pupils to report that sort of behaviour as unacceptable.

IcedPurple · 21/09/2026 22:40

That was my first thought but apparently he was talking about taking deep breaths! Very odd gesture though. Again, the 'grey men' would have come up with a proper itinerary and even if Harry did mess it up, they'd never allow footage like that to see the light of day. Free range Harry's great return has been a flop thus far.

Ahhh yes the lads universal sign of deep breaths. I have only ever seen a bloke do that when crudely saying big knockers.
Usually when demonstrating deep breaths you put your hand on your diaphragm as that is how you take a deep breath but suspect he is too thick to know that.
H is so far off the reservation book of etiquette that he has left the atmosphere.
Absolute wanker.

I'd put money on that "heads down", at least for now, is the most likely reason.

Sure, she could have popped off to the States unreported, even using commercial, if the benefactors won't cough up for a bizjet, but unless there's a driving reason why go through even the minimal PITA factors that goes with that sort of travel?

Absolutely she's throwing him out to test the water. Rehabilitation Harry project is well underway. Then she'll slink out

He's clearly referencing the teen with his back to us is taking a deep breath, huffing and eye rolling. It appears to me that he's given them a false leg on the table to generate conversation or something, the teen has huffed and Harry handles it by mimicking him. Then the teen on the other side says "there's six cameras on me, do you really fink I'm calm"

No breast reference and no swearing. Just an awkward middle aged man pretending to be down wiv da kidz innit

I’m not sure why you mention the habits of ex pats where you live.

This is a woman who gushes about herself as a “Mom”, looks at photos of her children when not in the room with them and write them emails every night.

It’s so utterly performative. I do think in this first big week for the children in such an alien environment it’s very odd for her to be out socialising.

I thought my reference to expats was self-explanatory, especially given that Meghan is one and the move and the children starting a new school had already been mentioned.

But it seems you want her judged simply because the children are in their first week at school. So she went out. So what? I regularly see groups of mums out for coffee after the school drop-off or having lunch before the school pick-up. Then there are the mums who work.

Unless you’re suggesting every mother with school-age children should be housebound for the first few weeks of every term, it rather looks as though you’re deliberately picking on Meghan. And let’s face it, those photos could just as easily have been taken at the weekend. Or are she — and every other mum — not allowed out then either?

There’s criticising for valid reasons but outside of that it just looks like nitpicking/finding fault for any reason.

JoanChitty · 22/09/2026 08:49

Apparently Ari Emmanuel is releasing his memoir today and our favourite MM gets a mention! He was/is CEO of the Endeavour Agency.

I don't think he was off his face. I think he's nervous and unsure how to behave, trying to come across as fun Harry/cheeky chappy instead of M's plus one. Perhaps he's missing the claw to guide him.

I agree. He’s looked very nervous when out and about recently.

Also regards the school of thought that he mentioned breasts to the children - why aren’t those who thought he said it not contacting the school?

Indeed. He should be reported.
However, there were teachers there who understand Child Protection and Safeguarding. So they would have.

Whoopiedooo · 22/09/2026 09:04

I hate to be out of step, and maybe I'm not, but I thought the "magic" was quite sweet, and he seemed sober and sensible.

Also, despite how embarrassing the whole "six cameras" clip was, my female music teacher half a century ago would raise her hands that way to indicate when she was about to bring the choir in, and we were to take a deep breath. It was a bit more expansive because she wasn't that close and had more space but it was a very normal and clear signal.

Well, he's not a music teacher. He's a middle aged man visiting a school in 2026. I've no idea what he was doing or how inappropriate or otherwise it was.
If there was a problem, the teachers would have flagged it.

Fracle · 22/09/2026 09:09

Horses7 · 22/09/2026 07:39

No it’s keeping her head down so H can resurrect himself and when we all love him again she’ll come out of the woodwork to do the same.

That's a long, long time she would have to keep her head down for, in that case. Is the general public really ever going to start liking Harry again? After the way he's behaved, and without any MIGS to choreograph his life for him?

And Meghan only truly exists when she has a camera on her. Otherwise she's just a probability wave with a sense of grievance.

I’m not “deliberately picking on Meghan”, I’m critical of her because she promotes herself widely as one thing and demonstrates another.

Other mothers who quietly get on with their lives do not concern me.

Meghan would not concern me if she disappeared from public view. I don’t give her a thought between insta boasts. Unfortunately there are rather a lot of those.

There is no way a teacher is going to report a member of the royal family (working royal or not), that SLT has brought in. Not going to happen.

Personally, I think he was doing the Doctor in the House joke (“Big breaths.” “Yeth, and I’m only thixteen.”), which is somewhat juvenile, and wildly inappropriate in a classroom. But has plausible deniability.

No breast reference and no swearing

I've no idea what Harry's gestures meant.
However, the boy definitely said "There's 6 cameras on me, do you think I'm calm" which seems fair, although I don't know why you put "fink" instead of "think"?
He also clearly said "Fuck off" as Harry moved away, maybe in response to Harry's huffing.

Edited as I ascribed the quote to wrong person - sorry!

Yes we would.
I doubt very much that Harry gave that level of concern though.

Slightly off topic but……someone has pointed out the visual similarities on sm !!!! …I’m not sure this was what Spencer wanted to invoke in peoples minds! 😬

No, the magic clip shows that but he probably has had a music teacher, as most of us have, and if I was looking for a gesture to go with "deep breaths" it certainly wouldn't be patting my diaphragm which looks more like a food/digestion gesture to me, I'd be doing what my music teacher did.
I completely agree though, we don't know what he was doing for sure, and the teacher about a metre away from him probably did, and probably did the right thing about it one way or the other.

Agree. The only thing I’m judging her on is leaking her location to a tabloid. And for getting her security to carry her or Kelly Zafjen’s bag.

I don't think he's bright enough to have remembered any music lessons, but who knows.
I think he's just a bit inept, gauche, unaware and arrogant.
Anything more dodgy, there would have been a follow up.
However, I think he's just a fool.
