And he has a driver?

Driving him 'through England'?

Who is paying and where is he going when we've previously been assured he's confined to barracks?

The Priory?

CathyorClaire · 04/06/2026 21:02

MyAutumnCrow · 04/06/2026 20:56

The Priory?

He apparently doesn't drink (where does that sweaty haze come from?) and I don't think I've ever seen him associated with illicit drugs so I'd rule out rehab.

Another conveniently timed stalky beast with a hammer? That's gone quiet

Indigovelvet · 04/06/2026 21:10

I'm guessing falling off your horse iinjury.

IAmATorturedPoet · 04/06/2026 21:13

A corgi got under his feet?

Yes could be a left hook!

simpsonthecat · 04/06/2026 22:05

What a mess it is.

The Express is reporting ‘non-serious medical condition’.

He might have thin blood from a condition or from treatment. And/or might have face-planted as a result of syncope (fainting), for example. Or it could be a horsey head butt. Or a slap.

May I also say, I think that ‘Syncope’ would do really well on the Baby Names Board.

CathyorClaire · 05/06/2026 09:45

He's just the tip of a bloated iceberg.

I've been pointing out for years that Ed and Soph have been sub-letting office space in their stable block at a rate which neatly covers the nominal rent they pay on their 120 room pile. Turns out they can let out further properties on the estate and pocket the proceeds 'privately'.

Then we had H&M whose 'repayment' deal turned out to include eighteen month's rent without increasing and relieved them of any further rental obligations. Saved H some £750k to the detriment of CE profits.

It's great that this enquiry is turning up further evidence of shady practices at taxpayers expense but really quite unsurprising.

No wonder W was panting to let us know he's paying full whack on the latest forever home recently.

Republicans have a lot to thank AMW for. I still think in 20/30 just possibly in my lifetime there may not be a monarchy. I’m not sure how I feel about it tbh. I hope it’s a gradual transition/decline rather wham/wallop.

Yes, it’s funny isn’t it, that after any investigation of finances, even with all the barriers, such as the deference and lack of discussion in Parliament, secrecy, the employing of potential whistleblowers and bringing them on side, PR spin and NDAs employed by Buckingham Palace, nothing good is ever found is it?

Imagine what would be discovered without all of those obstacles in place?

Recklessismymiddlename · 05/06/2026 10:13

Agreed
and I should have added that I would prefer a gradual decline, rather than wham as I think that will be better for the country, rather than a civil disturbance/disruption, cutoff their heads scenario, which won’t be good for the uk as a whole.

JSMill · 05/06/2026 10:37

The unequal treatment within the family is fascinating. Obviously, the heir and his family get special treatment. However, why were Andrew and Anne bought properties by QE II upon marriage but not Edward? Why do B
and E get their rent paid but not Zara and Peter?

Do Zara and Peter pay rent? IIRC they live in houses on the Gatcombe Estate.

What really puzzles me is that AMW seems to have been gifted a Royal property that he was free to sell - Sunninghill Park. The original early 19th century house was part of the CE but burned down in 1947 when it was being renovated as a marital home for Elizabeth and Phillip. QEII then bought it in 1986 and gifted it outright to AMW - presumably with funds to build the dreadful South York. Post divorce the house was just left to rot until AMW sold it for £15million cash to a Kazakh businessman who demolished it and rebuilt.

Recklessismymiddlename · 05/06/2026 10:49

The whole set up is fascinating from an outsiders point of view.

Yes I agree with this too. The last thing the UK needs is more instability atm.

Besides which, it would be much easier psychologically speaking on future potential heirs if they knew that, in advance of the next one being born, (George’s offspring maybe?) that it was all coming to an end.

At the same time though, imho, if it all drags on too long and genes happen to throw up an unsuitable candidate, someone who was very reluctant, or patently unsuitable for the role, then I am not sure the public would tolerate that any longer.

Recklessismymiddlename · 05/06/2026 10:57

I agree. Times are changing also. Deference for the ‘old order’ is going. SM & influencers are taking that place and space somewhat for some. Whether that continues who knows.

There will always be some sort of ‘class’ system whether that’s based on money or birth time will tell.

I’m descended from immigrants, even in our community dh was told he was marrying well, dh sil was told she was marrying well, and so it continues.. titles or not.

William does have a nasty temper apparently.

Ukisgaslit · 05/06/2026 11:46

I may have misread it @CathyorClaire but apparently William and Kate did NOT cover all expenses on their latest ( 4th? 5th? ) ‘forever home’

The taxpayer was charged nearly half a million for external renovations and W and K did the internal decorating .
If this report is true, and I think it is because if I remember correctly it was the National Audit office report , William and Kate have allowed misleading incomplete information to go uncorrected for several years .

If their lips are moving , they are lying as far as I’m concerned .

Im also wondering why Andrew is pictured now of all times . The Windsors allow themselves to the photographed , in most cases , for their own manipulative ends - see William pictured driving Andrew alongside ‘united family ‘ messaging . See Elizabeth on her literal high horse photographed with Andrew AFTER his Epstein’s links were revealed and public money was suspected to be used to pay off his accuser .

We are witnessing gradual decline .

Royalists are in the vast majority over 70 and so demographics will prevail.
Young people today will not suddenly turn into royalists .

Id add that a majority in both Scotland and Wales want rid of the Windsors. Charles really is ‘king of England’ . Probably to be more precise ‘king of women over 65 in the south east of England’

Reform and regulation needs to be carried out - I think we are seeing the start of that . All of the Windsor cartel needs to be subject to all laws - yes so called ‘king’ too. Pay all their due taxes , be subject to racial discrimination law , employment law etc . Take all oversight of their finances under the control of public bodies . We have seen that the Windsors cannot be trusted .

Look at what happened when Elizabeth died. Nothing. Despite a massive dystopian propaganda campaign, precisely nothing happened .
The same will happen when we transition to a mature democracy.
Let any Windsor stand for president . It would be interesting to see how they do .

The National Audit Office report is here

NAO report 050626

If this refers to Forest Lodge
-the property became available in early 2025 (previous tenants moved out)
-there was work done in summer 2025
-the Wales family moved in November 2025

It is therefore not possible for them to be said to have 'allowed misleading incomplete information to go uncorrected for several years'.

William does have a nasty temper apparently.

So far, I have Harry's and the mad squad's word for that, and I don't believe that H 's drug-addled, bitter-tinged brain is especially familiar with the concept of honesty.

Harry, OTOH, is known to be violent. So maybe it's projection on his part?

Anyway, back to the important NAO report and the Crown Estates ...

Very well put, cathy

I'm absolutely not defending Andrew in any way, but for me the wonder is why he gets all the attention when - rent-wise at least - others are doing exactly the same

Guess it suits the rest to have him as a lightning rod though ...
