For all Meg and Harry PR shenanigans

I'd watch it! I'm guessing they would want a very simple barefoot service with like less than ten people at it. Just themselves and Netflix..They would say it's because it's the opposite of what they had but it would be because they've fallen out with everyone and need the money. And this could be the big reveal of their kids faces - no pressure then on those kids!

Rhaidimiddim · Today 09:30

Serenster · Yesterday 21:59

Exactly. There were 25,158 company insolvencies in the UK in 2023. Perhaps CathyorClaire could tell us exactly what made the demise of Party Pieces so problematic when compared to all those other cases?

I'm sure some of them were paying rent on properties in Cornwall.

Don’t forget Lilie and Archie as pageboy and bridesmaid with only the backs of their heads showing.

Yes, and both barefoot, , Archie dressed for one season and lilibeth for another.

Marcus with a wicker basket, could lead the kids with their own wicker baskets scattering Meghan’s flower petals all the way to the altar (great opportunity to get rid of excess inventory) before Marcus hands her over to Harry.

Meghan with a beatific smile and doe eyes, and the camera catching her sharply and aggressively elbowing Harry as she stands in front of the woman with the weird voice and strange facial expressions.

And the later reveal of the true private vow renewal ceremony 3 days before, while the big one was just a spectacle for the masses ...

Benio · Today 10:30

Puzzledandpissedoff · Yesterday 21:29

I wouldn’t set out to upset a six year old boy. But I would consider it a kindness for him to have a chance to find out about his wider family and heritage. Who knows what they are told by their resentful parents. Seven is plenty old enough to find out your parents aren’t necessarily the font of all wisdom

You're quite right in principle, @ShamedBySiri, but given how H&M are seen to react to the least thing they don't like I wouldn't like to say how that would go down at home

I don't think we actually know what school Archie attends (?) but if the kids' experience drifted too far from what their parents want I wouldn't put it past them to homeschool - and them being raised with no other influence than that of their parents doesn't bear thinking about

I doubt they would home school - MM would see the well heeled, influential parents at their kids private school as commercial and networking opportunities - probs the only ones shes got left to mine!

MrsFinkelstein · Today 10:39

Mylovelygreendress · Today 08:17

I think the only thing left for them is to fully involve their DC , so a series like At ( borrowed) Home with the Sussexes .
I can’t see them doing a vow renewal . Who would attend ? No Royalty , no Clooneys , no Beckhams. And most people would speculate about the reason . The only people I know who have had a vow renewal have had affairs .

The only people I know who've had vow renewals (admittedly a very small number) are pretty much in 2 groups: (the biggest one) got married young, on a really small budget now have some money and now want the "big day". And tbh, it's usually the wife who wants to wear the big dress.

The 2nd group - it's after an affair. Both couples divorced within 2yrs of the renewal.

The Sussexes certainly don't for in group 1, and for their own sakes (& that of their children) I hope they don't fit group 2.

They need to find a job - both of them, but especially Harry.

Well, you can't prove a negative.

I have always worked in the non profit sector, so those are the organisations I am familiar with. It's well understood that organisations (companies) have different life stages, and different structures are useful as they grow and develop.

Also that some simply out perform others with a similar aim and set up - they are better able to spot market gaps early and make the most of their strengths. I don't think success is, in itself, suspicious.

But anyway, back to the Sussexes...

this is the epitome of waffle, what is your point?

Starryfifty · Today 11:05

Thedom · Today 08:23

It actually could be really funny, the Markles trying to gate crash, her father being wheeled around outside by his new Filippino wife. Oprah and Gayle could come out of the closet, Tyler Perry too, with some young dude by his side, they could even get a lawyer to serve him for historic sexual abuse on camera. Meghan being all earnest about the table settings and how she could merch the clothes and decor, developing gross recipes that all her buddies will applaud and secretly gagging behind her back, caught on camera.

The friend with the weird voice and expressions could do the ceremony, all Meghan’s friends could walk her down the aisle in a chain holding each others hands. Harry growing his hair a bit longer so he could do a real comb over so the light didn’t bounce off his bald patch at the altar, everyone high on psychedelics, cocaine and spliffs.

Images of the RF going about their business with a haunted look on their faces in case they are somehow asked their thoughts about it and why they are NFI.

Man, I would watch it, it could be TV gold in the right hands.

oh nan I forgot about Marcus, would need to find a VIP role for him, maybe carrying Meghan’s train.

Edited

You forgot the chocolate man

I'm surprised we haven't had a clap back about the fact that they clearly were not invited to the State Dinner, or any of the other events in the royal tour.

Maybe they'll roll it into their 'we didn't want to go anyway' response to the Met Ball non-invitation. That way they'll get 2 clap backs for the price of 1!

Starryfifty · Today 11:09

IcedPurple · Today 07:54

Maybe, but for that to work you'd need protagonists who are prepared to at least pretend to be 'authentic' and make fools of themselves a little bit. That's what people want from reaity TV. They want to see that rich folk sulk, get into arguments with their family, say silly things, 'just like us'.

Meghan and Harry however, take themselves painfully seriously. Especially Meghan. She has to always be seen as perfect and superior. That in itself can make unintentional laughs, such as 'Don't you know I'm Sussex now?' but not enough to attract a large audience. People are bored with these two now.

Piers Morgan did say after the twerking video, the sex tape is inevitable

The current script from the SS is that KC is a horrible, vindictive racist man for not making the time to see his child and his grandchildren (because apparently children shouldn't need to travel to see their parents).

Meanwhile they are avoiding questions about why it's so important for such a horrible racist man to see his 40yo son, DIL and grandchildren (who had to flee to safety from the horrible racist family).

BasiliskStare · Today 11:34

I think H&M did a pre-clap this time with that "invitation not expected ....taxpayer funded " post.

Recklessismymiddlename · Today 11:34

I can quite believe there are racists in the RF. KC? I very much doubt it. Even my republican mother didn’t believe that one!

I do feel a bit worried about the more vulnerable people caught up in the SS rhetoric. No human can possibly meet all the expectations of the more devoted fans.

Brilliant - the vow renewal would be the announce that they were now a throuple with Marcus - maybe some ghosts from friendships past could all make ‘surprise’ appearances Millie Mackintosh, Lizzy Cundy, Jessica Mulroney ….. and I could see a bit of drama with Serena Williams snubbing the invite. Get Omid Scabbie to live tweet the proceedings.

Puzzledandpissedoff · Today 12:06

Lunde · Yesterday 23:22

Is the "vow renewal" an idea for a TV special that they're hoping Netflix will pay for?

I hadn't thought of that, Lunde

Normally I'd dismiss Twitter rumours as the rubbish they usually are, but if it's a matter of making money I could just about see them coming up with a ridiculous idea like this

After all they appear to have nothing else ...

Puzzledandpissedoff · Today 12:17

Hs there anything (Harry) hasn’t agreed to? The hideous NF series showed how deeply obsessed with her he is. He’s incapable of challenging her, however low she takes them

I'd say he's in a bit of a difficult position, @Ohpleeeease, with nothing to bring to the table except the "Prince thing" - and even that's of less and less use now

Meghan's ideas might be vulgar and doomed to failure, but at least she has them, besides which crossing a wife who's already shown herself to be extremely manipulative could bring consequences Harry would find difficult

BasiliskStare · Today 12:27

I don't know whether the vow renewal would be a money making thing or a love story picture perfect life brand thing.

But let us not forget Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere's Times advert 😂

He has absolutely nothing to bring to the table. Every idea has been downright absurd. Interviewing Putin ffs

Did anyone see the interaction between KC and the little kid in Harlem? "I don't know, I just got here " 😂 KC response was lovely. He was genuinely laughing. If that was the montyshitshow pair, it would be blank stare from him and constant blinking from her.

Either that, or OTT invasive hugging, or maybe telling the poor kid that she's the most trolled person ever in the history of the universe.

Charles is interested in people and has nothing to prove. Meghan only cares about other people in so far as they are useful to her. That's the difference.

I loved that visit. Everyone was enjoying themselves and had smiles on their faces. Didn’t H and M visit a school in Harlem just after Covid and ask the parents to sign NDAs or something?
