But surely most famous people in the public eye have ordinary normal fans and others who are whacky and dangerous? And they will try and interact with the normal ones?
The nature of posting on-line is that it’s not always easy to tell which is which?
I don’t claim to be an expert in this area as I actually had to look up who the Sussex Squad actually are!
From this article, it seems some are legitimate:

Evidently, there are some very nasty malevolent people out there too who make horrific threats and that is utterly despicable and indefensible.
I can understand why some of the legitimate supporters were moved to post in Meghan’s favour though as I think she has faced a media onslaught out of all proportion to what she has done. And I think racism plays its part in that too very sadly.
Ultimately, they are all individuals behind key boards, some well intentioned, and some really nasty, which surely reflects the entire population engaged in on-line sm?
Most reasonable people know that this dispute between the royal brothers and their spouses is magnified and agitated by the media who are all profiting from it enormously.
If some extreme wierdo, out of a twisted sense of patriotism, attacks Meghan and Harry and sends them a death threat on line, or says something vicious about their dc, do you blame King Charles personally for that?
As far as I understand it, there is no evidence that H and M had personal knowledge of any cyber-bullying by Bouzy prior to their collaboration.
When Archewell Productions and Netflix partnered with him, it was in his professional capacity as a data analyst studying the structural online harassment directed at MM. I have to admit to only now looking this up but as I understand it, he was brought in as a technical contributor rather than a close personal friend.
The timeline of the most severe public backlash regarding Bouzy's own social media behaviour, which I agree was thoroughly nasty, peaked after the documentary aired.
Again, how much control do you think H&M have over what an individual writes on-line?
But I think if you spear head a campaign against online hate, toxicity, and cyberbullying and as M has done, appealed for on-line interaction to be measured, that is a pretty clear message.
