Watched the whole thing, Meghan made the right decision to cut them off. I'm also glad Thomas Sr has Thomas Jr and Samantha to lean on.

But Ashleigh has allowed herself to be talked into believing that was because the palace was interfering the calls. But Meghan had her own phone, she was having visits from friends to both Nott Cott and Frogmore. She was going into London for meals out. She went to the US for a baby shower and to see Williams play tennis. So where is this tight control? If she's chatting with and visiting friends abroad, why could she not stay in touch with Ashleigh?
It all rings a bit hollow.

I could totally understand her not wanting to invite her half sister and brother, but the excuse for not inviting her niece did seem hollow. And she had no control over who she talked to, but was able to organise and attend a baby shower in NY?

If she'd really wanted to she absolutely could. In fact I'm sure the Palace would have encouraged it - they were having to field never ending questions about why none of her family other than her mother was going to be there.

Let's say Megan was suddenly awful to dad just before the wedding.. A normal dad would swallow it. Accept it's huge wedding stress the stress of awful family members coming out saying the most awful things etc.

Take a back seat. Let the day go ahead and after the furhore reach out.

I used to feel sorry for Meghan because the Markles sold her out for money, built careers out of trashing her reputation, and kept blackmailing her (the interviews continue until you talk to me). But now? Ehhhh… it’s literally the exact same thing Meghan and Harry do to the Windsors. They took what the Markles were doing to them and used it as a blueprint for how to bully the other half of their family. No sympathy now! You live by the sword, you die by the sword.

That excuse really reminded me of when you’re a teenager and you don’t want to go to your friend’s party but you don’t want to tell them that, so you’re like “ughhh I reeeeeally want to come but my stupid parents won’t let me, their rules suck so much!” 😂 I mean there were total strangers at that wedding. I feel sorry for Meghan's dad. He's very ill but she doesn't care. It's awful to see. Diana's father was violent to her mother yet she walked down the aisle with him. He'd had a stroke too and was unsteady. She didn't abandon him. The difference was that Diana didn't care about money. Thomas's money ran out so he was no longer useful.

Everyone sounds very dysfunctional so its hardly surprising Meghan has turned into an individual who is so uncaring she couldn't even be bothered to speak to her husband, just sent his rings back. Happy to ditch her father for having a few photographers take shots of him for money, even though thats exactly what meghan has always done and still does. He did the best he could and was still the beloved father until 5 years ago when he didn't suit her image any more. The Brand just couldn't have an overweight elderly man as her father.

Quite honestly, meghan, samantha, thomas... all very unpleasant characters, but I do feel sorry for Thomas. Very much a lost soul. Meghan must have a heart of stone to not feel pity for a man who cared for her most of her life and loved her dearly. However many mistakes he made, he's now sick and old and very very sad.

I agree. I think of my own dad and the many spats we had. But he loved me and did so much for me. He was embarrassing and annoying but at the end of his life I could never have abandoned him. I just don't get it.

The reason why I don't believe Meghan's version is that Harry maintains that he was his grandmother's favourite so he would have got the matter sorted.
When William married Kate, a much bigger, grander affair, packed with official and international guests, he took the invitation list to the Queen and said he and Kate hardly knew any of the invitees. The Queen took the list off him, ripped it up and told him to go write a list of who he wanted to attend.
Now if she did that on a state occasion where it might mean disinviting important people so that W&K were happy, would she do less for Harry, her favourite, the only one she could trust?
It doesn't make sense.

I watched it. It confirmed what I think most of us already thought. It is pretty mean of MM and Harry not to let the children even if just twice a year see the father and MM's half siblings, mean spirited and nasty, Same goes for not letting the children see King Charles

Thomas does not have a relationship with any of his grandchildren - not just Meghan’s. Why is that?

Does this standard apply to everyone or just Meghan? Her father has done things subsequent to the wedding that have been so egregious I would challenge anyone to find it within to reconcile so quickly.

She said she'd tried to call him but he didn't call back. There were phone records to prove it apparently. He doesn't see his other grandchildren who were taken away from Samantha either.

I don't feel sorry for any of them. The Markles are just as bad as Harry and Meghan, selling each other out for money. If Meghan is willing to cut off her family completely because of what they did, Harry should do the same and leave his family alone. Cut off all ties to the monarchy and allow himself and his kids to finally be free of their grasp. But that won't ever happen.

It’s the first time I’ve watched any of the three senior Markles for more than a few moments (I saw a bit of her half brother’s blackface video and it speaks to what he is). They didn’t come across well. The first time they are all together in one place in years, and they do so only to talk negatively about Meghan in front of cameras.

I don’t feel sorry for Thomas Markle snr. What father speaks of his daughter the way he has, to anyone who will interview him? Being old and sick does not excuse your past actions, whether they are so recent or further back in the past.

There’s more to the program but I’m done. I really don’t have the stomach to watch any more of it. It’s just more tabloid journalism - keeping the populace entertained, and enraged about all the wrong things.

So many questions.

If Meghan's success is all due to her father, as they all claim, why are his two other children such failures that they have to depend on their younger sister's visibility to get paid by tabloid media? Why didn't he support his other kids to similar levels of success?

Why do the half siblings recycle the same 4 or 5 pictures, from when Meghan was a very young child, to "prove" that they "grew up" with Meghan, when the age difference is so clear?

And if she is as cold, unfeeling and grasping as they say she is, why on earth do they want to have anything at all to do with her?

This is sponsored stalking. It is familial abuse. The only people who don't see it for what it is are the people in whose eyes Meghan will always be in the wrong.

That the trashy white Markles with their blackface, blackmail, moonbumps and surrogacy theories garner so much sympathy here, while the always dignified Doria is smeared with untrue rumours, shows clearly what this is about.

Meghan decided to reconnect with her. So they obviously hadn’t been speaking.

The cynic in me thinks it was all for Netflix content.
