I can see the issue with trust. I wonder if there is anyone who could mediate, someone they'd both trust. Maybe a minister or someone like that.

Honestly my late MIL was a very difficult woman to say the least, DH went NC with her many times, my biggest fear was that she would die in one of those NC periods as I think he would have struggled with that afterwards. I think as you get older you do look back, the regrets aren't necessarily immediate but I think at some point they do tend to hit you.

I know MM encouraged Harry to have therapy, I wonder if she has it as well, if so it is probably something she could explore.

I'm not defending him, just saying I felt sorry for the family. I already said I was unaware of the blackface. That is certainly vile, but way should the father and sister be lumped in with him though?

Samantha has tweeted these theories, under her real name.

Thomas Snr has also has entertained questions about whether Meghan had "abortions" plural, as a teenager. About freezing her eggs, and much more unpleasant rumours.

@MrsMaxDeWinter I do not have twitter and have not seen any of the family's YT videos. My comments and opinions are based on the documentaries I have seen by the Markles and the Sussexes. I still think Meghan has not covered herself in glory, with the letter, which was designed for public consumption per the court docs. and Harry's description of her father in Spare, which must have known she would not have been upset about to write. Those who claim that the Markles are making money out of MM, of course they are, but MM has made money out of them and the RF with all her deals, so they are as bad as each other at least. I also don't buy that she really thought those dorky pap pictures would damage her and Harry. Kate's uncle got stung talking about drugs to a journo. before she and W got engaged and no harm was done.

I can't really say what I read without it sounding misoginistic, but she was not a nice woman. drugs, other men and so on. So Thomas walked out on the family. No idea if he paid maintenance or what. Then he met Doria, who like him was a free spirit and they got married, had meghan, At some point thomas jr and samantha came to live with them because their home life was so bad, which I'm sure was a disaster, but S & T are both clearly scarred by their upbringing. I think thomas Sr felt guilty for leaving his older children with an unfit mother. eventually thomas and doria divorced. Doria ran and managed a travel agency business, and thomas kept meghan. thats the bare bones of it. Probably just people doing the best they could for their kids, but all having failings and good points.

I must say what TM said about the letter from MM that it contained some undisclosed very nasty and hurtful things in it and that he would burn it before he died rather than risk it ever entering the public domain. I initially thought well we have just his word on that, the content could be as he said or it might not but then there was the text that Harry sent to TM that was redacted in the Mail court case because it would be 'too damaging' so now I'm thinking that TM could be right. Dan Wootton knows the entire contents of the letter I'm sure.

They were planning to fly TM out even AFTER the pap pictures debacle. He conformed it in a the interview I posted up thread. At that time, they thought he had simply been duped. She asked him to tell them the truth. He chose to lie then ghosted Meghan, telling her through TMZ that he would not come to the wedding. Meghan wrote to him three months later. He replied, asking for a photo op. Then he sold her letter to the Daily Mail.

My understanding is that the redacted portions of the letter talk about how she felt the press had manipulated him.

He also wrote back to her, asking for a photo op with her, for the press. Funny he does not talk about that bit.

Why would any reference about manipulation by the press be redacted from the letter? that doesn't make any sense.
We don't know what was said in the redacted text message that PH sent TM that was said to be too damaging to be released into the public domain.

I don't think they liked Doria, (jeolousy there too), and I don't think she liked them. I believe it was something to do with them that she and thomas broke up, but I'm hazy on the timeline, so may be wrong.

Yes, I certainly wouldn't recommend trans-racial adoption unless you have a very thick skin. The attacks from all sides have been quite surprising, including from POC for daring to think I could raise a black child. Who would otherwise be lost in the system - not that I thought about that, I just fell for her within 24 hours of meeting her.

I listen to DD's views, and those of friends/extended family who are POC. It has been eye opening.

But has also highlighted how varied the views of POC are, which is why I take claims to speak for all POC with a pinch of salt.

Ditto. It's easy enough to find. And personally speaking, I don't think it should be repeated on here for posters who can't seem to find it, because it is so revolting. The two Thomas's and Samantha are beyond desperate for media exposure and of course it's the likes of Dan Wootton who gives it to them.

Absolutely. In the past on other threads, I have literally told posters what to put in the google search and what will come up. But there is still insistence a link on here is needed.
Last time I acceded to persistent requests by a group of posters on something, I was then maligned for linking something derogatory! You can't make it up. 🤣

Yes and I think repeatedly asking posters of colour to go search and find something that is utterly shamelessly racist, is a bit much too. why do I have to look at and search for a disgusting display of racism because some poster is too lazy to go look at the first page of a thread.
