Following the departure of Rebeca Sananes (podcast producer) and Mandana Dayani (president) last month, Ben Browning (head of content) and Fara Taylor (marking lead) are also leaving Archwell. Ben had replaced Catherine St Laurent (chief of staff) who left in March 2021.

This brings the total staff who have left the Sussex team in the last 3 years to 17

What does archewell even do- collect money from other people and then give a small percentage away ti charity - sounds like a good gig

Using Ulvade as an example, doing a bit of research kaboom organised volunteers so did the main work. Kompan donated the equipment, the city of Ulvade owned the ground so I don’t know exactly what Archwell did ?

When interviewing candidates for project based roles you would think by their CV’s that they were instrumental to projects but usually when you drilled down and asked about their specific role, and kept drilling down you often found their actual role was non existent. The Archwell lingo is the typo of lingo that got my spidey senses tingling when interviewing.

I nearly split my breakfast tea with that. But if Trump can become President (or more pertinently actor Ronald Reagan who knows, she can certainly work the crowds. She's gone quiet at the moment could be a big plan being hatched.

What a facile comment. I'm not American, nor am I any supporter of Ronald Reagan, but to compare his career with Markle's is laughable and perhaps, proof positive of your ignorance. And he did have a reasonably active political career whilst still acting.

Have you actually seen any of his movies? Amongst others, I can recommend 'Kings Row'(1942). But probably, you'd just think it fraught and over emotional and find it easier to mock a studio churned out B-movie called 'Bedtime for Bonzo'.

She's excellent, I would love to see her in more.

She generally steals the scene, a standout for me in Suits.

One word: 'Firefly'. She had a great role in that. And I know it's beside the point, but she looked fabulous in that as well.

Most people in "the buiness" in LA do contract work.

Most contracts will have stipulated end dates. If it is for a series, the renegotiating starts if the show gets picked up, again if it is a hit and so on. That spills acrossd the board - for writers, producers, editors, post, actors, wardrobe, makeup, pr, everyone connected to a production. It is a way to mitigate risk. It manages tax burden for companies.

I suppose what I am trying to say here is that the people who have left will have had other bookings before even starting work with them. They finished the projects and off they go.

Los Angeles is a funny beast. (I know they are not in LA)...
