Thank you so much, Dr Dogbowl.
The dresser in question is Ms Angela Kelly. She is from Liverpool, which I hear is full of rough types.
Although furniture had spoken to me in the past.

TheLadyofShalott1 = please don't lecture me, ( and others), about mental health issues. You have no idea what posters have had to cope with. Anyone on here who's had to deal with severe depression, anxiety, post-natal depression, menopause symptoms, with children who have serious problems or elderly parents with dementia - we KNOW about mental health. And not one of us has made £100,000,000 from it.

We have all been stuck on waiting lists for months or even years, we've put up with "six free sessions" from the NHS and no more. We've all despaired at getting help for our teens and waited for ambulances when someone we love is at risk. And some, some posters on here have lost a loved one to suicide.

So please don't accuse posters of having no idea.

Harry could have paid for the best help ever - and probably did. But he doesn't want help he wants money. Lots and lots of money. (Which, if he gave even half the proceeds of this book to a mental health charity, would make a very big difference to a lot of people).

But as far as I know he hasn't.

NearlyMidnight · 07/01/2023 20:27

Anyway - sorry - back to the memes please...😁

StalkedByASpider · 07/01/2023 20:28

Ah @ICrunchCrispsNotNumbers I understand now, thank you.

You, and all the others on here who think that Harry's mental health is something to laugh uproariously about, and make fun of with infantile memes, do not understand what it actually means when someone is mentally ill.

However, what I still don't understand though, is how so many of you are so distressingly uneducated about it. If we take Harry out of the equation for a minute, and concentrate on Prince William and Catherine, they have spent many recent years trying to explain about mental health, and how people should not be ashamed if they suffer from it, and that anyone from any walk of life can suffer from it. I believe that what prompted them (along with Harry) to feel so deeply about this subject was the fact that the Princes' Mum, Diana, was supposed to have suffered from debilitating mental health problems.

Which I believe she did. But I strongly suspect that Charles and Camilla, and their plotting and gaslighting, is what led to Diana's mental health problems. She was a young and naive girl - C & C chose well from that point of view - with a landed gentry background, who yes, was shy, but who had not shown any signs of mental health problems before marrying Charles.

I don't know whether Prince William did actually fall for Charles' undoubtedly questionable version of what really happened between him (Charles) and William's mother, or whether he has had to talk himself into believing it, in order to have a good relationship with both his father and his wicked step-mother. Of course we their subjects, can only ever wonder about which version Charles gave to either, or both of his sons, as I doubt that anyone, even far into the future, will ever know the complete truth about that, as it won't have been written down, or recorded, by any of the original players in this very sad saga.

So now that I have realised that most of you haven't got the slightest idea about the effects and severity of mental illnesses, and the fact that they can render the worst of their sufferers to be completely innocent of any legal or moral wrong doings, all I can do is beg you to stop this cruelty, and to instead spend some quality time educating yourselves on the realities of the affects of mental illnesses. I fervently believe that Harry shows all the signs of having at least one severe mental health illness, along with having almost certainly swapped two gaslighters (C & C), for his own wife, Meghan, instead. I would be very pleased to be completely wrong about Harry, and to learn that it really was only greed, jealousy, and selfishness, that made him behave the way he does; then I could be spared the worry I have over Harry and his children's well being, and my feeling of needing to try and make you all understand why I find your behaviours abhorrent, and potentially very damaging to Harry.

Don't you dare lecture me about MH issues and my lack of understanding of them. I've lost people I Ioved very much to suicide and it was the longstanding hell in their own heads, from in one case decades of schizophrenia and in the other a depression exacerbated by Lariam that did it, not a meme thread on Mumsnet, which we all know Harry is never going to see.

RedToothBrush · 07/01/2023 20:35

Look, even if Harry is ill, until he reaches the point where he realises this approach isn't helping matters.

If he wants positive feedback he has to take on board criticism. Criticism is not prohibited. It's actually healthy. Walking on eggshells and constantly shouting down anyone who says something critical 'because mental health' isn't healthy. It means you never learn to build up resilience to bad things too. You need a certain exposure level to both positive and negative comments.

He has capacity to make decisions so don't infantilise him - I genuinely this is a major part of the problem he's facing now too. It's not helping to hide behind the mental health thing. He's clearly not going to resolve his issues by doing this so publicly if he has a problem. He has to reach the crash and burn rehab stageif that's the case.

He decided he wants to play this out in public - rightly or wrongly - because he has capacity. He WANTS the public attention at this point. He's been told repeatedly to step back and to reconsider, but he's ignored same advice. He was warned it would go badly wrong by many calm and rational voices he's ignored. He is currently on a media runaround by his own free choice. He retains the right to make bad decisions.

The public are also not obliged to respond in the way he would like. They have a free choice to say this is bollocks in response.

It is far better to do this via memes than worse. Laughing and eye rolling is better than alternatives which could be far worse to his mental health.

How do you get the message across that what he's saying is not ok? Cos it's not. Communication is a two way thing. Memes go viral rather than comments shouting in the dark. Harry needs to stop and listen to how insensitive and rude and how he's harming others himself.

This isn't a one one street .

Lentilweaver · 07/01/2023 20:41

OMG can we go back to the memes rather than these tedious and unnecessary discussions about mental health? There are already a million threads about Harry's mental health and indeed everyone else's.

No offence intended.
I was - to be clear - not writing as myself, but as Harry.
I would also like to clarify that I have not borrowed a tiara nor had a bin talk to me either.

I am full of admiration for Ms Kelly.
Harry took out 25 Taliban and yet was reduced to a shivering wreck when faced with her basilisk stare. Kudos.

@KayTeeJay The hole in the shirt is easily explained.
She wove the cotton herself, but was distracted by a seal singing to her and understandably got confused between warp and weft.

That Twitter thread is gold. I tried to add a comment about Anne, Princess Royal and Mike and Zara of Tindall leading the Duke of Cambridge Light Cavalry from the Cotswolds but I'm rubbish with Twitter.

Thank you for this!! Pure gold. The people are sooo clever.
