You loss lead your best selling books like something by Michelle Obama so people might buy another book? That's interesting. Doesn't the author object to the cut in their earnings at selling at a loss?
I've learned tons on MN from people in the know. So thanks. Out of interest how low will a publisher go on a loss leader?

Don't the shops buy the book from the publisher and then sell it at their own price and determine their own mark-up don't thy? Same as any other products.
