I think it will be born tomorrow, it will be a girl and they’ll call her Rosa Elizabeth.

What’s everyone else (who’s interested) thinking?

2 May: girl - Eleanor Diana.

If it’s a boy, I think they might go for Henry Phillip (with Hal as a NN rather than Harry)

Oops - see what you mean Grin

Perhaps the surname, such as they have one, will be Sussex?

After all, his brother's brood are Cambridges at school. So both William and Harry changed their surname on marriage it seems. They were both Wales in the Army. Anyone remember what they were at school?

2 May is Charlotte’s birthday, my gut says it won’t come then.

I’m also confused by the police escort news in Chiswick, that’s miles away and not even in the direction of Frimley Park (if she’s going there).

I’m local local and haven’t seen anything to write home about. Not that I expect to, just saying I haven’t.

I drive to work along the A4 in Chiswick and a police escort is very common. Sometimes it's Royals going to Windsor, sometimes it's Theresa May coming in from her constituency.

Chiswick in the route between central London and Windsor, so it does make sense.

It's also on the way to Heathrow and any number of dignitaries worthy of an escort might be on that route

Apparently the royal website unwittingly have 3 webpages reserved which are all for boys - names being Arthur, James and Alexander.

I once stayed the night in the army barracks in Windsor with a member of the Queen's cavalry. Very nice chap he was too.

Why was a thread deleted for saying the baby's name would be Rosa?

"I once stayed the night in the army barracks in Windsor with a member of the Queen's cavalry. Very nice chap he was too."

But what was his name? Wouid it suit a royal ducal sproglet?

PMSL, no I think the suggestion was that they've reserved these names and unknowingly given away the sex of the baby which is apparently unknown.

Can't remember his name funnily enough. I can however tell you, that beds in a barracks are very slim things. and I wasn't supposed to be there

I think a girl too, hadn't ever thought of hazel before but that's actually quite nice.
I'm sure Meghan feels like this too, but it does feel like she's been pregnant forever!

Or perhaps a little Serena.

GirlRaisedInTheSouth · 29/04/2019 21:53

@Wineloffa Serena is a good suggestion. It’s after a great African-American role model and it’s also a very beautiful name.

@girlraisedinthesouth I like it too and there’s already a Serena in the RF. Lord Linley, Princess Margaret’s son’s wife is called Serena.

The police escort was in Chiswick; miles away.

Not that far away and also the route out of or into London for the M4 which goes past Windsor.

I think she's in labour. I think it's a girl.

1st May, girl, Isabelle Diana
