The royal family

I'm going to Pippa Middleton's wedding - you?

I don't have an invitation you understand; but I'm planning to go and stand outside the Church (or Mum & Dad Middleton's house, haven't decided yet) and watch the wedding party arrive/depart. Will be fun and a nice atmosphere, plus a good opportunity to see the Cambridge family. Anyone else planning the same?

I'm going to the wedding Grin

UrsulaPandress · 12/04/2017 09:26

Well no I'm not.

But placemarking for your detailed reporting.

RoseAndRose · 12/04/2017 09:27

Is it today?

user1482079332 · 12/04/2017 09:30

Why?

gonegrey56 · 12/04/2017 09:32

The church is on a private estate .

Shockers · 12/04/2017 09:32

Why not?!

Butterymuffin · 12/04/2017 09:32

When is it and where? I quite like wedding details, though I wouldn't go to the trouble of showing up.

cherryberrymum · 12/04/2017 09:33

Oh when is it?

Itaintme · 12/04/2017 09:35

What for? She's not even a royal.

sonyaya · 12/04/2017 09:37

Apparently she is doing no ring no bring which says to me the whole thing will be utterly classless. Can't wait to see the dress though.

I think it's 20th May, or at least that's what the press report

theresamustgo · 12/04/2017 09:38

Errrr why???

Honeyandfizz · 12/04/2017 09:42

I presume you are joking as I cannot see why anybody would waste hours of their life on this.

fatrascals

It's where regardless of how long a couple have been together or their situation, you don't invite the partner of your guest unless they are engaged or married

Lflossy88 · 12/04/2017 09:46

The controversial stipulation, which means 'plus ones' must be engaged or married to the invited guest, is designed to keep numbers low and relative strangers out. Hmm

Leeds2 · 12/04/2017 09:47

I was wondering that too, Fatrascals!

Ikeameatballs · 12/04/2017 09:47

Also confused by "no ring, no bring"....does it mean that couples are only invited as a couple if they are engaged or married?..

I can't be bothered googling, sorry, what the hell is a 'no ring, no bring'

If I lived close enough I'd probably go if I thought I'd get to see George & Charlotte - little cuties they are! I can't believe she's nearly 2, how time flies.

I hope Kate is planning on wearing a stunning dress that shows off her bum! 😂

Hillfarmer · 12/04/2017 09:48

the whole thing will be utterly classless

You what? Do you mean tasteless? That I can believe.

Hahahahahahahahfaaaaaa!

BadTasteFlump · 12/04/2017 09:49

No I wouldn't be remotely interested in the wedding of anybody I didn't know.

Although I am a staunch republican (anti royal, not pro-Trump Grin) - so in my daydreams I may consider turning up with a few rotten eggs but wouldn't actually do it in RL.

AnnieAnoniMouse · 12/04/2017 09:50

Cross posted.

Fucking hell, there's a new, bizarre, 'wedding thing' daily I'm sure.

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 12/04/2017 09:50

Apparently she is doing no ring no bring, you know this how?

Whatever floats your boat on how to idle away a few hours.
