He wants to exclude kittens but some of his guests want to bring them.

I think no kittens, they will cause havoc during the ceremony. Keep it adult only and most of the guests will politely nap through proceedings.

While I may not agree, I can understand some people's reluctance to have children at weddings.
I'm pretty sure however that kittens would dramatically improve that type of ceremony.

I'm taking my children to my brother's wedding later this year and while they may not be able to compete with a kitten for cuteness (in the eyes of others - obviously to me they are adorable), I am pretty sure they will behave better.

Well, they're looking at an all-inclusive package, which gets them from Glasgow Airport to Heathrow, then a Wizz Air connection to Ljubljana.

Then it's three days in a sleazy hotel, with free booze, strippers and lap dances.
