What cat food is your cat eating?

I know this has been done to death, but Toots has suddenly decided after YEARS of enjoying gourmet perle, that it isn’t good enough for her.

She’s been leaning half a bowl left every day. She only gets one wet bowl a day. She has dry food down all day

Ugh I can’t keep mine away from any source of meat. I have to chop her some sausage when I’m having battered sausage from the chippy. She will pinch some chicken when I’m having Chinese. She even actually pinched a chip from the chippy cos they were cooked in beef dripping. Cheese from a cheeseburger is another favourite.

Mine just knocked the Lurpak off the counter, got the lid off and started eating it.

She wolfed down the cool cat! Looks like we have a winner

Whiskas pouches and Dreamies for treats.

My fussy little diva was on Lily's Kitchen for the last year since we rescued her - it helps that I work for Lily's!! She was never a fan of the fish, but over the last few months she gradually refused to eat any of them - I tried the lot!!

Being familiar with cat food I really didn't want to downgrade her food, but as with babies and kids "fed is best" so tried Whiskas and Sheba. She bloody loves them! Her weight has gone up so she is no longer too thin and she is eating every scrap...

Looks like despite my best intentions she will be on those now (until she changes her mind, obviously!)

My furry pest refuses anything but Whiskas in jelly and applaws as a treat. He has dry Iams biscuits which are out all day and has half pouches of Whiskas on demand. He loves Lik-E-lix but won't entertain dreamies or any other hard treats. His favourite thing though is ham or raw meat of any variety and he will even demean himself to beg for this if we're cooking or making sandwiches. He's never responded to us shaking a treats tin or shouting his name to get him to come in but if we shout "ham!" He legs it back! He has thrown up every brand of "better" food we've tried him on so I've resigned myself to the fact he's probably set in his ways now 🙄

And although fussy, he is very beautiful ❤️

One sheba pouch
One tin of tilly and ted ( I have only found in asda)

Purizon - Good quality dry food to compensate for the sheba!

Mostly Katkin (frozen fresh pouches). But also Meowing Heads wet food and Royal Canin dry. Occasionally Encore pouches. All eaten with gusto, but sometimes he'll go off the Katkin, so I have to have alternatives to offer for his delectation.

I pay close attention to protein content, but there's a limit. He won't always eat the Katkin.

5am this morning I woke to the kitten chewing my cheek. Good appetite that one.

Ahh the most delicious of all cat food - human faces 😊

My cat Milly is on Whiskas pouches in jelly & Harringtons dry. Not keen on gravy at all. She was on Lidl grain free which she loved until they changed the brand they sell. Tried her with Aldi grain free but prefers Whiskas. Loves a daily treat stick & a few dreamies. Can't eat my own food in peace if it's fish or chicken & loves leftover porridge & yoghurt.

Room296 · 10/10/2024 11:02

Mine was on Blink for about six months then one day decided it was poison. Tried him on Harringtons which he loved, Until I bought it in bulk then he immediately went off it. He has now been on purina one selective palate for a few months and clears his bowl. For now lol..

Overtheatlantic · 10/10/2024 12:00

Mine has been on PurrForm raw for 4 years and she loves it. She had awful digestive problems before but now she’s happy and her coat is divine.

BirthdayRainbow · 10/10/2024 21:30

Mine currently eating whatever I give her. I think the vet calling her a little princess has shamed her.
