Grumpy, show Sybil the pictures of Gizmo, relaxed and happy without her.
🤣🤣🤣

The Lovely Sybil might still be in with a chance.

Mr SB let Suzy in the front door when he was going out, so she headed for the food bowls and helped herself. All good.

Then Gizmo appeared...........................and it was not the stuff of Romeo and Juliet because first of all, he watched her eating, then, when she turned round, he hissed and growled at her.

Suzy is made of strong stuff. She ignored him, finished eating, then went to the front door to be let out by me.

Gizmo went back to his basket.

😂

Actually, Gizmo has been asleep all day, apart from his brief excursion into the kitchen to growl at Suzy.

Linney, on the other hand, has been out all day.

I'm not surprised he's sleeping a lot. Car travels make me exhausted too 😂

Lovely to see him settling in but my heart breaks for his dad. It's always hard to let go but after 11 years... I just can't imagine 💔

TheShellBeach · 11/06/2024 17:56

Linney, on the other hand, has been out all day

Mr SB went looking for him and found him hiding.

He has brought him home.

Excellent Mr SB

TheShellBeach · 11/06/2024 14:47

He is.

He does indeed look very settled.
I was waiting on a residential car park the other day and a cat strolled up, squatted over a drain and peed into it. I was very impressed at its cleverness. Matt seems to think he needs to come in to use the litter tray before heading back outside around.

And how they grew 💕💕

I ❤️ the photo of the idiot sisters all lined up together.

Breadcat24 · 11/06/2024 14:29

@HouseofHolbein
I always love the windowsill one. Do you arrange them or do they sit like that

It was a lucky catch 🤣🤣

Look happier than in the hats...

The bonnet pics are my favourite.

Re: the cat tree. Cat Three finds being picked up extremely confusing (where is the ground? What is happening?) so I avoid picking him up. All scritches occur at his level. He is not a good jumper, so I was extremely impressed he got to the top.
The baskets in the tree are all the same distance. Once they worked out they could get from one basket to another, the top was no problem for Cat One and Two.
I put little bowls of treats in each basket to lure them. I did have to lift Cat Three in the first time to show him the treats. There was some taxi-ing of Cat One when he couldn’t get into the tree because the others were in the way.
As for standing around waiting to lift cats into the tree, not really different from opening the door for them all day 😁

YesItsMeIDontCare · 11/06/2024 22:25

Leroy takes the lift to the bed more often than not 🤦🏼‍♀️ He's got lazyitis so it's difficult for the poor delicate waif 🙄😁

Oh my! I am just catching up with all the Thug Cat news. Forgive me I was too wrapped up with our DDog being PTS that I have been absent from the litter tray for a bit.

TC is now in Scotland, welcome TC (can’t believe your real name is Gizmo). Hope you enjoy your retirement here.

My own tribe of 4 have been amazing since DDog has been absent, extra cuddles for Mum, I do think they have noticed. I love just love cats. Also I bought a little memorial photo for DDog yesterday and put it up in the living room, got up this morning and one of them had knocked it over, they are still terrorising the poor dog even in death, the rotters. She was so scared of them, 7 stone plus of ridgeback and the cats ruled the roost. I’m sure they are telling me to not even think of bringing a puppy into the house!

TheShellBeach · 11/06/2024 23:40

@sweetkitty I'm so sorry about your beloved dog.

He's woken up to be fed but then goes straight back to sleep.

He’s looking so relaxed. Linney, not so much.
Last post about my cat tree: it is posh! DH insisted we get one that looks like furniture. I made him find it 😄
Here is Cat Two on the cushion from it. She loves them once they’re not in the tree.

Beautiful @TheShellBeach

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 12/06/2024 07:25

So Shell - did you stroke his tum when he was on that position?

PurpleSparkledPixie · 12/06/2024 08:41

My goodness, no wonder he is content to stay in the house. He's headless!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 12/06/2024 09:18

Just nipped next door to check some post for NDN. Karl followed me and accompanied me to NDN's door miaowing the whole way.
THEY KNOW 🙀

One cat's Linney's loss is another cat's Karl's gain.

TC seems so docile in these new photos. Perhaps it was just @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats who brought out the worst in him?

Hmm, yes. Quite revealing - no? 🤨😆

RumNotRun · 12/06/2024 09:30

We said all along that @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats was mean and TC was just an innocent little cat.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 12/06/2024 09:32

It is fair to say that TC has got more 'relaxed' as he has aged.
But he has already growled at Mr SB and hissed at Suzi so he hasn't completely lost his touch 🤣.
Note to Shell. He is always at his grumpiest when being prevented from doing something he wants to do...

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 12/06/2024 09:43

Realised that no 'grumpy' cats have appeared on the thread yet.
Lenny is keeping me company in the office and looking pleasingly 'russetty' as usual.
