My insurer Agria sent me an email today with a link to the 20 most popular cats names, thought people might be interested to see if their cats are on there

One of mine is - Teddy - but the others aren't.

I can confirm none of our family cats, or previous cats are on there. We currently have an Arthur. Previously a Merlin. In the past have had, Claudius, Sheba, Cleopatra, and Ophelia. Also had a Floyd.

I had a Misty once, we inherited him. Long gone now.

None of the others are on the list, although there are a couple I would use if we were to get a kitten (or a youngster already named but which we didn't like). The last 8 of our cats have all been adult rescues or fosters, and have all already had names.

I'm glad I changed my Teddy's name to Paddington. I hated it, and he would hate to be regarded as common. 🤣🤣 The best cat name ever though is Cheddar. And she was the best cat.

Our cat is called Tiger(lily). Before that we had Hamilton.

I used to have a mog called Monty - 19th name on the pedigree list.
None of my remaining nine cats (past and present) had any of those names.
And will nobody think of Felix 😿

One of mine is on which i didn't expect. I didn't think it was a cat name.

I had a Blue about 40 years ago and Luna about 20. Neither of my current ones are on there.

No, not on there, not any of the 5 cats I've had.

I had a Luna ( until we lost her to kidney failure age 6 last October), and still have her sister Lola. We also have a Vladimir - I don't expect his name to be on the popular lists! All pedigrees.

I had a Felix, a Zara and a Tan for my previous cats. All 90s kittens!

Only 1 of my 5 cats makes the list, Jasper. But my daughter, niece and granddaughter are on there! 😂

My cat isn’t on that list, but half of my 8 yos class is 😂

Neither of mine have made the list! I have Onyx and Socks

My best boy Frank hasn't made the list. He would be furious if he had as likes to think he is the only cat in existence 😸

No cat I've ever owned is on there, but there's a Monty a few doors down so at least my road is represented

None of mine are on the list, I've had Bazinga, Mungo, Minnifer, Maleficent, Mordred and Bovril.

Sadly no cat currently in residence as DH is allergic, I had Mordred and Bovril when we met, and DH just had to go on permanent antihistamines until they passed away.

My darling Bovril, my last one, was 19 when he finally gave up the ghost, and DH was as upset as I was.

I am delighted to say none of my cat’s names, past or present, figure on this list, lol. Some lovely names on there of course.

We have a Monty (full name Montgomery) but the other two aren't on there. One of them has a made up name and the other is Brian

We had a Loki, named long before the MCU fame.

None of mine past or present are on there. They’re not remotely unusual names I’m just unfashionable! Knew Luna would be top.

Our Siamese don’t have names on the list they are called Hugo and Yzma .
