I can’t remember who it was who went to Southwark Cathedral and saw Hodge but I was so jealous I went today on way somewhere else to see him. And I did!! So pleased. DH thinks is hilarious the lengths we go to for cats

I've seen Hodge in person - and I think another poster has too. Glad you were successful, LostCats! He is indeed a splendid beast.

It was The Long Rider who saw Hodge. I would love to see George the station cat at Stourbridge. He gets lots of international visitors, not just from the UK. There was another station cat called Jess who lived at Andover. Sadly she died a few months ago. I went through the station a lot and always looked out for her but I never saw her.

The Bluebell Railway used to have a cat called Vandal. DS2 (when very small) accidently sat on him when we visited. He was known for being bad tempered, don't think DS2 improved his mood 🤣.

Our high-end, expensive Bosch washer dryer has packed up AGAIN and I'm in the launderette, while Mr SB and DS2 are slaving away putting DS2's bed frame together.
The mattress comes tomorrow.

And we've got to do a further two trips to the hospital for Mr SB.

This afternoon velvet has investigated a single cushion for ten solid minutes, run headlong into a door (again) and for some reason repeatedly got into a bookshelf (she’s still at it, on her fifth foray) Why she wants to cosy up to books is a mystery because she doesn’t even have the one brain cell shared by most cats. She also showed absolutely no interest when a neighbouring cat sauntered into view in the garden and froze, presumably either perceiving a threat or starstruck at her beauty. She is currently trying to survey her territory through the window by sitting right in front of the window border thingy - can’t remember the word but it’s the side of the window. I love this cat but she’s astonishingly stupid. All these bumps on the head can’t be helping!

This is very true! Respect to all the mini panthers out there. Ironically my mother wanted a Bengal and I wanted a black cat, we’ve ended up with a Bengal and my mother doesn’t really like her while I and almost everyone else who sees her are totally in love.

Absolutely! the cat in the garden has been starstruck by Velvet's beauty. Word has gotten around that a gorgeous cat has now taken up residence in your home in his neighbourhood, and he needed to have a look-see for himself😻.

We do decorate - our decorations go up on Christmas Eve and come down on 12th Night. We usually buy a tree the week before Christmas.
I'll see if I can find the pics of TC in his Christmas outfit.
