AIBU to think my cat could have written a nicer message in my Mother's Day card?

AIBU to think my cat is really ungrateful? I opened my Mother's Day card and whilst it had a nice cat picture on the front, inside my cat had written "Happy Fucking Mothers Day you dickhead I'll bring in a dead mouse for you even though every day should be my fucking day now that's it fuck off".

After everything I have done for her, I think this quite a poor effort really and her punctuation is shit . She did sellotape a photo of herself and made the effort to draw a speech bubble to make it look as though the message was coming out of her mouth, but AIBU to think she could have made a bit more of an effort or at least write a nicer message?

PS Any DCs who helped her hold the pen in her paw are thankfully adults so at least she didn't expose a young child to her swearing.

PPS Cat isn't Thug Cat although I suspect he is her role model.

I once sent my DD a Valentines Day card from the cat in my OP and actually put a stamp on it and sent it in the post for extra realism. She was 20 at the time not 7 or anything.

I'm going to send this to DH for his birthday.

This is the other cat, she is absolutely lovely but (and these are the words of her vet) "not the sharpest knife in the drawer".

She doesn't even know how to sleep properly, let alone write a card. I love her to bits.

Meh, I can't get worked up about that, tbh. I just got a puddle of piss on the rug as I was sat drinking my coffee. I do try and give her some leeway as she is about a million years old in cat terms, but the wee furry shite she tries to pretend doesn't exist could have attempted some form of acknowledgement other than going over and wrinkling his nose at her 'gift'.

It was years ago now. She wandered over, dug a little hole next to my head, took a shit, buried it and walked away. Maybe she thought that's what I was doing down there, she always liked to join me for a communal pee when the litter tray was in the bathroom. She's odd.

The neighbourhood Six-Dinner-Sid woke me up at 2am this morning asking to be let in as it was raining. I explained he doesn’t live here. He thought I was being cruel and heartless and decided to tell everyone all about it. I found him a sheltered spot.

He has just turned up demanding to be walked home-he needs me for the doorbell.

I am a cat slave without being a cat mum. I suppose it takes a village to raise a cat.

I actually wonder if the heart shaped sick was a tribute to your cat's favourite Nirvana song. Especially as the next line is "Hey Wait I've got a new complaint..."

Mine have been using my bank card again to buy my gift. They signed me up to a monthly human/cat subscription box, I received the mothers day edition this morning. They have form for using my bank card to buy me gifts on special occasions....

Mine was sulking because I had a lie in so didn't feed him at 6.30. Sulking insoles lying at the top of the stairs and biting anyone who tries to walk past.

Leroy allowed me to have a short lie in this morning before breakfast and post breakfast cuddle* so I guess that's better than nothing

*Cuddle, in this instance is him using me as a bed whilst not allowing me to stroke him. I know my place 🤷🏼‍♀️

Dickcat brought me a rabbit this morning.

Unfortunately for us all I didn't realise it was alive and when I yelled at him he dropped it where it promptly darted under the unit. There was a moment of silence before the dogs, the cat and myself all erupted into action.

Think I would have preferred an expletive laden card .....

I had a 5am wake up call so she could tell me how much she loved me. She then stood on me for 90 mins until I fed her. Happy days.

4 cats and not a single thing from any of the ungrateful little rats. one ever kicked me out of bed so he could stretch out and go to sleep. Got up and he followed me downstairs, started playing with a spring, he jumped landed on my ankle claws out and now have a hole in my ankle
