My youngest [preteen] been anxious lately and overthinking etc. [For another thread...].
One of his desires is a kitten. We have put it off as there is an elderly cat next door that uses our garden, messy house, reluctant husband- anything really!
Then, a colleague sent picture of her 3 week old kittens. 1 ginger one left...
We have booked it.
Right- need to declutter house?
Keep inside for winter then introduce to back garden maybe?
Tell neighbours when know definitely happening?
Book into local vets etc for vaccinations and neutering if a boy [they are not sure yet].
Visit cat!
Panic!

Oh he is lovely. For some reason, he looks like cats that have indeed been bred, rather than accidentally (in which case the owner would neuter their beloved cat afterwards). Probably because he is so fluffy, with a small face and rounded body. I wish him a long snd happy life. And good health ❤️.
Kittens don’t like to be alone, and don’t like to sleep alone, you will have to make a sleeping corner in your son’s room. And not be angry at a few night wakings. It will settle down.

He is most certainly a local moggy. I do hope they spay his Mum. Think they will now. Vet noted how fluffy he was and said extra long whiskers! Whole family in love with him and my youngest stroking him at this very moment...

How lovely,. l own two adorable cats, one ginger, the other ginger and white, they are brothers , very affectionate and loving.
In my opinion pets are very helpful regarding anxiety, l got mine not long after my husband died, we are eight years on now but they were invaluable at a really difficult time, in the early days my young sons would cry themselves to sleep, it was utterly heartbreaking but these two little cats were such a huge comfort, they would snuggle up, purring, and made us feel less alone, a real Godsend. l am very grateful to have these lovely creatures in my life, they bring us much joy.

Thank you everyone. He is already so much part of our lives.
Think we all needed this adorable, ginger and white little Prince!
