Suggest a name for a boy cat

We're so so excited to be picking up a new kitten in a few days but we're stuck on a name. The shortlist so far is Linus, Ralph, Rufus and Earl. I was pretty set on Earl until DH pointed out that it's a bit jarring to call it out loud. At the risk of ending up with more choices instead of an answer, any ideas?

My boys are Ludo and Chips.Chips has several nicknames… chippeededooda, doo-da, scrappy, scraps, to name a few. Ludo is simply Ludo or Big Cat.

At this rate I think we might just go with 10 middle names🤣

DH is veering towards Linus just so he can say "thank you Linus" when he eventually teaches him to fetch Hmm Anyone who's ever watched How I Met Your Mother would understand the reference.

We've lost two cats in less than a year and they were both his lap cats so really it's his new buddy. Flo our lonely needy cat is very aloof and is the only cat that has ever shown a preference for me (pictured because she's so cute and you need to see her)Grin

He's home and we've named him Linus! He was painfully shy the first night but has come out of his shell in the last 24 hours. Our last 3 cats were all boisterous and nosey so it's a new experience. We're keeping him in our bedroom for now in the hope of getting some morning cuddles. This morning he cuddled up to me at 6am but ruined it by trying to eat my knuckles.
