Do you have rooms in your house that your cats are not allowed in?

When we got the Fur Overlords I said they couldn't go in the utility , mainly because I didnt want them getting down the back of the WM , getting stuck and going into panic.
They don't go out the front door (cat door in the kitchen)

So , rolll on a couple of years . They push the utility door open to go in. They've been down the back of the WM .
DH let the female cat into the porch (enclosed) because "she wanted to look round"

The only closed door is DD bedroom which of course infuriates Female Cat who demands I just give the door a push .

Do you have those "look we discussed this" conversations or do they just ride roughshod and basically take over ?

I have to say though, mine don't walk on the kitchen worktops . Every-bloody-where-else ....but not the worktops !

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats

Sorry if this sounds a bit pretentious but... Our cats were not allowed in the library up until 4 weeks ago, but since I started my new job and use the library as my office the three black ones are in there with me for the entire working day. They are also not allowed in the music room. Re worktops, I'm afraid Sybil currently lives on the kitchen table.
I try to keep mine out of the ballroom and the scullery

We have a spare room that the (cat hating) IL use when they stay occassionally (pre-covid) , so theoretically they are not allowed in there. We keep the door shut most the time, but if for any reason any reason it's open, they're in there like a shot. and then end up getting shut in

Theyve never (to my knowledge) been on the work surfaces, and they are not allowed out of the front door.

Mine don't go in the bathroom because they pull the bath panel off..which is surprisingly hard to get back on considering 2 creatures without opposable thumbs can remove it. The carpet at the door has been totally annihilated though so not sure if that was the better option.

Nope. It's their house. I'm just a maid / cook / lap.

My two tend to go where they want during the day. They are shut in the living room at night though, or outside if they want. No catflap so once the choice is made they are stuck with it.

Neither walk about on the kitchen surfaces, but one of them likes to sit in the sink Confused. Not to drink water or anything, must just be cool on her bum!
