She's missing

My beautiful cat hasn't been home for 24hrs now, I know it's not that long in the grand scheme of things but it's so unlike her, she's so shy and timid and never stays out overnight! I'm going out of my mind, literally crying on and off all day! It's been so windy today and she's petrified of the wind I'm hoping she's just been hiding out waiting for it to drop and will toddle home soon! Please tell me your happy endings for my long night ahead 💤

I honestly have no idea where she's been, she doesn't appear to want to tell me wait her 😂 she is most definitely grounded, now to persuade the husband she needs a swanky gps collar 😏

@Fluffycloudland77 this is now my thought, especially as it's so so unusual for her to go off!! Thanks so much everyone I'm still so happy, we've had cuddles on the bed this afternoon and she was purring away 😍 think that was her way of telling me this is her happy place

Found this thread tonight as I was looking for advice as my own girl cat is now missing 24 hours. Similar situation to yours OP, timid and terrified of the wind.

I've been out calling for her 3 times over the course of today and dh has gone out now as it's a bit quieter.

We will do leaflets and posters tomorrow.

Florence is a beaut - so glad she is home!
