Not a chance, her snoring is unbearable and he's a space stealer! They can sleep here till I get in, however they'll always choose ds over us anyway, he's just told me off for trying to evict her so I can shut his door!

fuzzywuzzy · 02/07/2018 22:36

Yes. But recently they have defected to dd’s bedroom as her bed is new and cat hair free.

GrumpyOldMare · 02/07/2018 22:38

No way! My bed is for me not the flamin' cat! My cats are not allowed on my bed/kitchen surfaces/table! Yuck!

101usesforadeadcat · 02/07/2018 23:36

Hard to get a decent photo when he's lying on my arm!!

I let mine jump up for a stroke for a few minutes then I tell him to get down and he obliges and sleeps on the rug.
Quite a well trained cat really

SimonBridges · 02/07/2018 23:41

When we first got our cat my dh was new to the whole concept of cats. He ask ‘but where will she sleep?’ To which the only reply is, wherever she wants.

We changed to a king sized bed to have enough room for her too.

Yes × 4.
I love my fuzzies in my bed/hate them annoying me!

I am quite insane, as is Dd16 but we let them on our beds.
My biggest one likes to sleep beside me with his head on the pillow, breathing his fish breath in my face.
They all often decide to practice for a race a d run and jump on my bed at 3am.
Usually when I wake up I have my original cat on my feet.

It should be annoying but it's not, I love my cats and I am Crazy Cat LadyGrin

Beamur · 02/07/2018 23:46

Sometimes. But I could do without the joy of him being delighted to see me at 5am (having patted my eyelids to wake me) then patted again until I lie in the 'right' position for his comfort.
DH is far less demanding.

scaryteacher · 03/07/2018 00:46

Both my boys sleep on the bed and I arrange myself around them.

Scotstar · 03/07/2018 01:40

Youngest cat goes out gallivanting.

I'm currently lying on my belly in bed and oldest cat sitting on my bum....shes kind like that!

Petrasfriend · 04/07/2018 19:23

Of course! Still devastated about the loss of my beautiful boy but fluffy girl is trying her best to help me.

The kitten sleeps with DD2 they are constantly together it's v cute 😻

AlonsoTigerHeart · 04/07/2018 20:20

They are both banned from the bedrooms so yes, they do indeed. One steals the covers

MargaretCavendish · 05/07/2018 00:44

Our two usually do but I'm expecting first DC soon and vet told us to get them used to any changes in their routine well before baby arrives, so since they can't be in the bedroom when baby will be they now sleep downstairs. They seem completely unfussed about this; we're very upset about it and miss them terribly... Sad

Normaknowall · 05/07/2018 00:59

Yes has his own cat thing in bedroom but likes to sleep on DP or tuck into my neck for a while, then retires to his bed for the night.

Yes, I’m currently squinched on the very edge of our bed as we have air con on and three of our cats are sprawled about, enjoying the cool.

MayContainBrain · 06/07/2018 02:26

It’s a no here. Just think it’s unhygenic —plus I sleep naked and can’t imagine the pain of getting clawed on my bare arse cheek in the middle of the night—

SimonBridges · 06/07/2018 06:06

I have heard people say it’s unhygienic before.
Why? What is unhygienic? How is it any different to them sitting on your lap?

thecatsthecats · 06/07/2018 09:26

Yes, with varying degrees of success. They aren't allowed in there in the day due to hairball incidents.

Left my sweet floofer on the bed yesterday morning because he was batting his eyes at me. Heard him thunk down from the bed and be sick all over the bedroom floor a minute later.

Other times he cries and scratches my head when it's time for me to get up (read: 5am), and others they sleep like fluffy angels cuddling me.

violeticecream · 06/07/2018 09:33

Yes!

IratusCats · 06/07/2018 09:47

Yes much to dh's annoyance. We weren't going to let them, they trashed the doors and carpet digging to get in. They sleep on the back of my legs or on my chest.

ToothTrauma · 06/07/2018 09:56

Yes - they sleep together at the foot which I find very cute. Too hot at the moment though so they take turns sprawling in front of the fan.

MargaretCavendish · 06/07/2018 10:21

I can see how it makes a difference to never allow them in the bedroom at all - when I think about I suppose the amount of cat hair I sleep in is a bit grim! But I can't understand the logic of letting them on the beds during the day but not at night for hygiene reasons (can understand it for noise/disturbance they cause).

HilaryBriss · 09/07/2018 15:17

Yep - mine likes to lie horizontally across the bottom so that neither me or DP can straighten our legs properly
