Ollie screamed at me so I shot out of bed to check what was up (on late shifts)
He ran straight past me to hog the bed

Hmm. relaxing downstairs watching the athletics with Boycat (well I was watching, he was lying on his back drooling with eyes closed having a belly rub) and I have just heard a loud crash/thump type of noise from upstairs, followed by Girlcat sauntering into the living room. Girlcat NEVER saunters, she walks in a brisk manner everywhere almost marching.

I now need to go up & see what mayhem she has wrought !

Acting natural is key to not getting found out.

I bet there was a nest in that tree, some are tiny.

He raided a mouse nest the other day, Fluffy, and over three days caught three baby mice, two of which died.

That looks like a 'bed-retaker' to me. There's something ......triumphant in that gaze.

Well he did thunder past me, plonk himself on the bed and then pretend to be snoring within seconds while I was bleary eyed looking for why he was shouting

6.14...6.14 the little bugger woke me up by touching my hand. He had taken himself of to bed and hour or so before I went up, and I thought his Dad would be home soon.

He made such a racket I ended up getting up as his Dad was late. He came back to bed with me and didnt wake till nearly 11am

He is definitely trying to figure out and escape route
