Another stray kitten!!!

I've also had a stray/lost kitten turn up on my door step this morning. I've posted on Facebook, knocked round the neighbours and no one can shed any light.

I managed to get her in the car carrier to pop to the vet who thinks she's about 7 weeks old. No chip but in reasonable condition though hissing a lot.

I'm reluctant to call Cats Protection because I think she has a safe and happy place for now (though I'm not sure it could be permanent - Dennis loves the fuss of an only cat) and I would hate for her to go in a cattery.

Any advice is welcome.

Just read the full thread and I'm so happy they are starting to get along! Both cats are gorgeous.

It's finally happened. They're snuggled together as if they're the best of friends. I'm so relieved and happy!

I now have two cats, it's official!

They seem to be best friends already. Dennis is playing with her, cleaning her, purring at her, sleeping with her, sharing his food and litter tray with her and even took her outside (his favourite place) just to show her round the garden (supervised! She's still not vaccinated either, but has a vet appointment).

She seems to love her big brother! It's glorious to watch their relationship.

Dennis is still cross with me - he hasn't slept on me or sat on my lap or let me stoke him since she came home but he he seems fine otherwise! Clearly protesting!

Cookie briefly was less cuddly with us after Biscuit arrived, but soon warmed up again!
