Who will win?

After smugly stating a few months ago that Toots will eat what she's given, the furry little twat has suddenly developed standards.

She has eaten one meal, and then refused all else

So far she's had:-

Natures menu
Natures menu raw
Hi life
Lily's kitchen
Royal canin (wet)
Gourmet gold
Gourmet mon petit

And I went out and got Sheba yesterday to try..

I don't have the biggest budget. I can't afford to spend £1 per tin of food as she eats twice a day!

I spent £8 on Sheba yesterday to last a week. She ate her breakfast, refused her tea and refused her breakfast today

So I've binned it and will let her go hungry until tea time.

I am determind to win.

Let the battle commence

A PP mentioned Pets at Home food. I have visited the factory that makes the kibble and cans and the raw materials are really good quality, so not cat McDonalds equivalent! Not been to the pouch factory though, so can't comment on the ingredients of those. I don't work for PAH or the manufacturer, by the way, so no vested interest.

I don't think anyone else has suggested this - my cat turned her nose up at every cat food and in desperation I bought her Lidl Opticat biscuits and their 20p trays of pate - and Miss Oh NO I can't eat that muck loves the stuff. Worth a try?

Erm if they get out during a season you may not be aware of it... They don't call as such if they already get what they want Blush

And Id be pretending not to understand what she meant asking for wet food Grin 'I no speaky cat meowi?' Smile

Well here's a small update

We went back to gourmet as it's the easiest food for us to get. She turned her nose up but we've worked out a trick

I add a spoonful of hot water to her food to make it a bit more saucy. We now have an empty bowl by the morning

Cave in to the Whiskas. It's the only one our lad likes. He prefers the gravy ones because he likes to lick the gravy off and they are a pain in the arse to get out of the sachet.

He also likes, ham, chicken, tuna, tuna pate...

The cat will win.... they always do!
