Anyone got Persians? Tell me about them.

I've got two lovely Persians. Who are my world. I got them by chance and apart from the owners of the rescue I got them from don't know any one else with them. Would love to know what your Persians personalities are like! Photos required!

We have a 16 year old half Persian who is a dark tortoiseshell colour. She has been clipped out at the vet for two years running as her very soft long coat matts up and she can't cope with the grooming of it any more. She has a tortie temper and will not tolerate much grooming by us. She is a tough old girl having just survived a run in with a car which dislocated her thigh. I thought it would be the end of her but she is still with us, stiffer than she was but as much as a purring fluff ball as before.
