He's mine, all mine and I pick him up on Thursday! Although my 12 year old daughter is going to name him, please not Fluffy, I'm open to suggestions to tempt her with Grin

SugarDiabetes · 29/03/2016 20:04

I love FluffyMcFluffFace, miffle!
Yes I'm excited. I've not had a cat for about 20 years.

What a stunner - I love his tufty lugs. Is he confident or timid? Love a good rescue story - I have 3 so far and one is a tabby and white like your beautiful boy.

Good lord OP that cat is gorgeous!

SugarDiabetes · 29/03/2016 20:37

Quiet. But not skittish. Very calm and watchful. Beautiful!

Northernlurker · 29/03/2016 20:45

He looks like a Sebastian to me

BagelGoesWalking · 29/03/2016 20:56

I thought Winston too, but Wellington is fantastic. Same train of thought led me to Napoleon.

Pushkin is great (love a Russian name). Solzhenitsyn is a bit of a mouthful but what about Tolstoy, Checkov or Gorky Grin

Puzzledandpissedoff · 29/03/2016 21:34

Definitely a Max Grin

He really is just stunning - those gorgeous markings and delicate features; if you hadn't said otherwise I'd have thought him a female

Vinorosso74 · 29/03/2016 21:36

What a beautiful cat! Those furry ears are fab that comment is only suitable for cats never humans.
He does need quite a grand name. I named my first ever cat Fluffy when I was 7.....

Oldraver · 29/03/2016 22:33

He's lovely

Diamogs · 30/03/2016 00:04

Awww lovely, rescues are the best type of cats.

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 30/03/2016 08:02

Oh my goodness, he's beautiful.

He looks like he needs a serious dignified name. How about Edgar or Atticus?

SugarDiabetes · 30/03/2016 11:33

Love Atticus. But it's likely to be Fluffy!

cozietoesie · 30/03/2016 11:42

Cats often 'develop' their own nicknames after being with you for a bit. So giving in on 'Fluffy' right now doesn't necessarily mean that that's how he'll be known around the house in later years. Smile

Puzzledandpissedoff · 30/03/2016 12:14

But it's likely to be Fluffy!

Nooooooooo!!!! You can't do that to such an exquisite cat Shock Grin

I remembered this morning who those long tufts reminded me of ... how about Dali? Wink

stealthsquiggle · 30/03/2016 12:19

Aloysius.

or FluffyMcFluffFace

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 30/03/2016 12:23

I hate you OP. Envy

I will put in a vote for FluffyMcFluffFace though.

Or Smiles Grin

SugarDiabetes · 30/03/2016 12:34

Milk I am going to have to go and find the 'Smiles' thread to see how that turned out....

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 30/03/2016 12:50

No secret kitten Sad

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 30/03/2016 12:55

Would your DD HP for Atticus if presented as Atticus McCatticus?

You can't call him Fluffy. Only snakes, lizards and pet stick insects can be called Fluffy.

KanyeWesticle · 30/03/2016 12:56

No - he needs a name suitable for the gentleman he is. NOT Fluffy.

Something that would appeal to a 12yo DD too - maybe from her childhood favorites, O'Malley, Duke, Clifford, Wilbur, Paddington, Kristoff, Horton, Mr Popple?

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 30/03/2016 13:02

Duveteux (French for Fluffy)
Flaumig (German)

AvaCrowder · 30/03/2016 16:45

Mr Tibbles.

He is looks lovely.

Peaceandloveeveryone · 30/03/2016 17:08

Mr Tibbles is looking good to me.
