She may or may not be being fed by someone else...

She Normally hangs around the garden, but today she was desperate to get out and hasn't been seen since...

She may also have been run over... Or eaten... Or doesn't want to live with us anymore...

Or be having the time of her life and perfectly happy Blush

SingingMyOwnSpecialSong · 28/02/2016 23:57

Glad she's home (have name changed since posting my missing cat story up thread) and wishing her a speedy, full recovery.

GreenRug · 29/02/2016 06:10

I'm not a pet person but I just wanted to say I'm so glad he's back! I'm so happy for you! How all you cat owners put yourselves through that worry I don't know!

RobotMenu · 29/02/2016 06:44

Thank you. I'm just so happy. We had purry cuddles last night

I think the eye looks better today (less swollen). It's still closed and puffy. I hope it's ok. The vet couldn't take a proper look at it due to the swelling and as it was closed and she was in pain - he gave a best and worst case scenario as it was so obviously infected (he wants a better check for foreign bodies this morning, but i think he'll be able to today. That's why we have to keep going back.

I'm so glad she's back! I hope her eye improves and she makes a speedy recovery.

GlitteryFluff · 29/02/2016 09:38

Yay, she's back! It's a shame she's not back unscathed but at least she's back. Hope all goes ok at the vets.

RobotMenu · 29/02/2016 22:33

Quick update. The eye looks much better today - the swelling has gone down a lot and the vet was able to get a better look at it. I have to take her back later this week, but if it continues to improve like it has, then it's looking good.

It's so sad that she's hurt, but I feel I can do something about it by nursing her back to help. It's helping to relive the helpless feeling that I've felt the last few days.

This forum has been such a good support - it's hard to put into words. Thank you.

Oh Dead that's awful. It's the not knowing isn't it?.

JapanNextYear · 01/03/2016 07:44

I had one who would go for a wAnder every spring, for a good 3 weeks or so then just turn up wanting fed like nothing had happened. Another one that disappeared for 6 months, and just trotted back home.

gingerboy1912 · 01/03/2016 07:49
