Please hold my hand , my boy has been run over

My poor boy was run over tonight , clipped by a car . Some lovely people picked him up and cared for him and I took him to the emergency vet . He's got a fractured shoulder and he's having a scan for internal bleeding . Please think of him , I don't know what DD will do without it.

Sending Big Dave lots of love and get well wishes. I've done that panic drive to the vet myself after my boy was savaged by 2 dogs. The vet was amazing and luckily we still have him with us. I hope he's a good patient!

Did they ever find their cat?

Not yet , they had moved recently so were looking to see if he had come to the old house. I hope he shows up . They are such animal lovers , Dave was in very caring hands.

Helping Dave will likely also help them then.

Hopefully he will take to crate rest in a graceful manner not like the late-great-gingermonster we had who objected in the most vocal manner for the three weeks he was crated.
He'd also lie in wait and swipe your ankles given half a chance.

All l can see is one sparkly eye in your photo. Phone is failing and the screen is dark. I hope he perks up soon, he's a lucky boy. All paws crossed here for a speedy get well asap. And quite a few loving licks for you all.
