How many cats does everyone have?

I'm hoping I'm not the only 'cat lady' out there. We have just gone down to 10, unfortunately lost one of our girls before Christmas.

We have seven. Two black and white brothers, a brother and sister (did have another sister but she died), another couple of brothers ( kittens of the one who died) and an odd ginger striped boy. Miep and Dynamo, Fish and Ghengis Khan't, Tablet and Little white thing and Cornflake.

Just one atm. This thread is like the book Mrs McTats and her houseful of Cats Lucky people! Gorgeous pets.

I have one, but we live on a farm with converted barns all opening onto the same courtyard whilst our gardens are separate and back onto fields. I have 1 cat, 1 neighbour has 4, 1 has 1 & 1 has 2, so I'm reassured that she's not lonely/craving cat company whilst being king of the castle in our house

Just one right now. I considered adopting two this time around, but it just so happened that no-one wanted to adopt our current cat, probably because she came over as unfriendly/timid in the rescue, as well as being not a popular colour, black and white. She became very affectionate with us once she settled in but wouldn't happily share with other cats.

wowis I have the same fantasy. I say if I ever won the lottery, I'd give up my job and open a cat sanctuary.

One. Persian rescue.

Supposedly 3 but the 3rd has 5 other houses he visits. Several of the neighbours very much dislike our cars although 2 only go out for a couple of hours a day so presumably dcat 3 is being a nuisance.

At one time we had 7. We had two, then took in a stray who promptly gave birth to 4. We rehomed the kittens and had mummy cat neutered. She then scampered.

Our last cat died age 18 of stomach cancer. Just too awful to contemplate living through that again.

I've got one boy, he's 8 months old. My 5 year old DS3 named him so he's called jacket potato .

Two. An big old ginger moggy, and a newly acquired rescue ragdoll which is just the biggest puddle of love in the world, and is happiest when all his people are on the sofa so he can take turns getting pets with each of us. The poor thing is finding the heatwave here a bit tricky though, a long fur coat and temps of 40 degrees plus is not a good combo, even with the air con. His favourite spot is belly up under the ceiling fan.

Five now! Red Burmese (tough guy and urban legend) Snow Lynx, Silver Spotted Bengal and two Maine Coon kittens.

One 8 month old and even that's too much for me.

Kingjoffrey how does your bunny get along with the cats? We have two lovely ginger moggies here and love the idea if a house rabbit.
