So I'm going to indulge, and would love to hear about your cats too.

We got her as a rescue cat a couple of months ago and she is super affectionate and definitely my cat, although tolerates DCs pretty well ( not so keen on Dh).

We clicked on sight when we met her at the shelter, to the point where I felt terrible going home without her!

She is 7 and now sleeps on my bed and waits for me to finish dinner so she can snuggle on my knee.

One of the best decisions ever!

Obviously the best vintage Roast! I should have added a picture of our girl (think I may have posted this before). She's 13, we got her age 6 and is fab. She's quite a chilled out lady but we had an awful year with her last year. Long story but she had triaditis so had surgery to have her gall bladder removed along with a stone in the bile duct plus biopsies of liver, pancreas and small intestine. We then had to do tube feeding for a week while she got used to eating normally again. She's doing well now but was very stressful and expensive after going over our insurance limit. Worth every penny tho!
She has been so good with our DD who came along about 18 months after we got her and likes to listen to her bedtime stories.

This is the favourite member of our family. DH has texted me from abroad to check she's not out in the cold.

She is a lovely chunk, and she's 9. We got her and her DD from a rescue in October. Her DD prefers being away from us, but Beyoncè is just a lovely lap cat and such a beautiful soul.

My three :o. Tabby/white is Silver and she's 9. We've had her 18 months and she's a sweetie, total lapcat.

The big lump of a tabby is Marshall and he's 13. Lives for food. Loves being out side. Will lay next to you but not on you.

Small tabby stretched out is coco and she's 2. Only had her 3 months and she's still a bit feisty. Likes salvaging hands and lying on the sofa gazing out the window.

Neither are mad keen on photos, but this is furrycat and crazycat - both rescue. Crazycat is part Rex, very affectionate, clambers all over you including perchjg on your shoulders, and very vocal. Furrycat is the snuggliest lap cat and lovely to stroke.

Awww I luffs all kitties. I only have one master, though I would gladdy have a house full. Maybe I can get rid of DH to make room for more.

Here my sweet baby. She knows shes the master and I am her slave. She's 7mo old and 10 lbs. Cant wait to see how big she is when she finishes growing. Shes a ragdoll and the get to 25lbs!

OP, welcome to the club. They take over your heart and house very quickly. I have Zara, a beautiful Abysinnian cross resulting from an accidental breeding between a show cat and a wayward local Tom. She is 100% my cat, and my feline soulmate. I also have Habibi, known as Beebs, a shelter rescue who tricked me into thinking she was the sweetest, demurest little scrap who wouldn't be a moment's trouble, then immediately took over the house. She's unbelievably intelligent, highly sociable and affectionate (with anyone, not just me), and 'speaks' with a variety of communicative noises. She is also a panleucopenia survivor (feline distemper), the only one our vet has seen, so a very special girl indeed! Bibi is black and white and Z is calico

Loving this thread. Here is Dave, our 9 year old rescue boy. He is the soppiest cat I've ever met - he sits on your chest with his paws round your neck and gazes adoringly into your eyes. Sadly, he's an only cat but I'm working on DH.

This is Ophie (Ophelia)... one of my three. She was on look out duties this afternoon..sat on a 6 foot fence post in the garden watching for neighbouring cats

She is a sweet soul but a feisty fighter too! A dainty 12 pounder Maine Coon

Then we have Portia. 16 years old, tiny 6 pounder moggy and RULES the house with a paw of iron..the other two are scared of her, as is our Vet

And finally Obie... (Oberon) a 20 pound asshole of a cat. Unfaithful ..he spends half his life at the neighbour's house... ungroom-able. With the most pathetic high miaow ever

I tell you, I'm scared of her and that's just from her picture!

Cozie.. that's the face I open my eyes to every morning!At 6.29 precisely.. just before my alarm goes off.. she stalks up my back while I'm asleep... slaps the top of my head and they whacks me when I roll over! Purring as I stagger down the stairs to feed her ladyship

Every kitty on here is gorgeous. To those working on the dh to get another one, keep at it. He WILL cave in eventually. I finally got number 3 when a friend had to rehome which is why we have the feisty 2 year old now. Despite kidding on that he didn't want her I hear him saying "hello coco darling" when he sees her and he keeps trying to pick her up for a cuddle :o

I caught her trying to whack boy cat on the head this morning, she was on the table, he was underneath but she couldn't reach. Very amusing though.

M is such a wimp and total scaredy cat when it comes to anyone but me and G! He also eats everything
G is the biggest lump and such a sweetie! He loves everyone! Even kids and strangers!
I sold something on gumtree earlier today and he tried to go home with the buyer!
We're had them since the end of September from a rescue shelter and I'm smitten!
They're my boys and I love them very much!
