Hello my fabulous Podsquad, here is Podcast Thread III.

For anyone that is new to this thread, it's about my rescue dog, known as Pod.

for if anyone would like to go back and see how astonishingly naïve and traumatised I was by taking on a fully grown, teenaged pointy dog who seemed determined to destroy me and everything I love.

Theatrics over, here is the Pod in question (obviously I've edited the lead out - I'm not mental).

If anyone doesn't have is Insta handle and wants it, just DM me. A video of me and Pod doing yoga together will appear at some point soon.

He looked almost offensively delighted to be back there. The kennel lass adores him and made a huge fuss of him and he's got his little raised bed and piles of blankets, although the kennels all have radiators I learned today so hopefully my little egg won't get cold.

Thank everyone, I'm chuffed to bits 😁

So we picked Pod up and took him for a walk at a beautiful ruined mill and waterfall nearby. The kennel lass said he had a fantastic time and they're all huge fans of his.

Something pretty miraculous happened also... During the walk Pod was much much much better with the other dogs we met. Almost like being with dogs all day and overnight had reduced the novelty a bit. Me and DP couldn't believe it! So definitely booking in more daycare. And liaising with the Podsquad to see if I can match up some days here and there so he can tear about with his besties. We've just got back and Pod has wolfed down a meal and circled up next to me on the sofa. I'm using Kenneth and a pillow and going to have forty winks too as, bizarrely, didn't sleep well last night. Think I kept waking up to marvel at the 9 million thread count sheets in the hotel.

Oh I've got ALL the feels! Firstly congrats on the engagement. How lovely. And that's such brilliant news that he had a great night there. My dog just isn't bothered about other dogs. He'll say hello to them if he feels like it but sometimes just ignores them and wants to carry on sniffing. I'm sure it's because he's so used to being around lots at daycare. Really well done to you and Pod!

Such good news that Pod enjoyed his stay at the kennels. It makes life so much easier.
I waited a few years before using them for lurcher girl as I was afraid it would set her back. It was such a relief when she was fine and the kennel staff loved having her. She settles in really well.
I should probably have done it sooner.

Nope, be we ordered it together over dinner last night. It's in San Francisco so will be a while to get here so another reason to keep it secret for now. And we Def don't want to overshadow MILs birthday. It's a STUNNER though!!
