Dog training channels

What are your favourite/go to YouTube dog training channels? I recently discovered “Happy Hounds”, which I really like (force-free/positive reinforcement only) and have been using successfully to teach my dog “leave it” after a horrible human poo eating incident at a picnic site recently 🤮. But I’d love to hear about more good channels, and equally about others to avoid.

I don't know about worse but electric shocks, prong collars and 'lead corrections' that can even involve yanking a dog up in the air seem as bad as whipping to me.

What methods do you see that are worse than whipping while a horse tries to dodge the whip?

Shock Collars
Prong Collars
Electric shock fences
Choking dogs with slip leads
Pinning terrified dogs to the floor
Sound aversion

To name a few.

I suppose it's a matter of opinion. I don't teach my dog or my child softly. Both get told off or told no when appropriate. Positive works with some dogs and balanced works with others. It's not cruel to adapt to the dog. I know Southend dog training trains his dogs well and quickly where it is dangerous not to.

I haven't used an ecollar as I haven't needed to but you can also just vibrate. I think halti's are more cruel than a prong on some dogs. They can both cause intense pain - the bone on the nose is incredibly sensitive and I wouldn't put my dog through that. I've used a prong on my big, strong and stubborn dogs while training and they've been absolutely fine. I've seen a dog squeal at one and would never do that. I use a slip lead sometimes and he will receive a slight choke if he pulls. He's smart enough not to.

As for terrified dogs being pinned to the floor, I've not seen any of the trainers mentioned doing this. Only César Milan. Another dog will put a dog in check, it's not cruel. It's life.

This is why we have so many dogs running rampant and with little training. People get dogs and simply don't understand the requirements.

But I have a feeling you'd be reporting me to the rspca based on the above.
