Any recommendations please?
Even chicken has got boring. The obvious ones like wagg or pets at home etc seem to upset his tummy.

My dog says cheese please! The smellier the better and particularly goats cheese.

Left of field one here, but fork up an egg, plop on plate, microwave until solid. Hack up and go. Cheap, suitably stinky but surprisingly portable.

Or if you fancy making stuff - tin of sardines in oil/tomato sauce, egg or two (incl shell). Whizz up, add whizzed up oats until you have thick stodge. Bake until solid and hack into cubes.

Or you can spread the batter in one of those silicone dot pans and make about a million tiny treats. Freeze and grab a handful as you need.

Lily’s kitchen burger shaped treats are ‘mid range’ treats for us.

Serious question, how do people use primula as a treat. Do you squeeze it on your finger or go they lick it from the tube?

Straight from the tube here. Luckily none of us like it, so no chance that someone will have a primula-and-dog-lick sandwich.

Another primula question...
Is it easy on their tummy's? A lot of the ordinary treats have adverse effects on Brodie's poos 🤢

Cubes of cheese
Cocktail sausages

DataPup · 10/07/2024 14:23

I'd say avoid things like primula, cheese and hot dog sausages if pup has a sensitive stomach.

Dunno if it is or not, but because they’re basically only getting the tiniest lick, it doesn’t really matter 😂

I had a dog that loved it, a tube lasted weeks even though we used it on every walk.

Have you a recipe?

1lb liver
1lb sr flour
3 eggs
Handful parsley (optional)

Blitz lot on a blender (wash blender in cold water first, then hot!). Add water if needed till it looks like cake batter
Pot into a tin and bake for 30-45 mins at 180.

Divide up. Will keep for three days I. The fridge so I keep some out and freeze what won't be used in that time
