I've not seen any fleas but 3 dogs going mad scratching.

I have seen some flea dirt in their fur.

Used frontline plus Thursday night. Washed all bedding on hot wash etc.

They're still trying to scratch their backsides and bite themselves :(

I don't think it is. I've not seen a single flea. But I can see flea dirt and they're itching like mad.

Fleas don’t live on your pets though- they live in the carpets where they lay their eggs, and hop on for a feed. The dirts are a sign your pets are being bitten still.
The itching is caused by a reaction to the bites. Some pets only need a few bites to be super itchy while others can tolerate a much bigger burden.

There are other parasites which can cause itching too- mites. The likes of Bravecto and Nexgard are licenced to kill those off as well as fleas and ticks.

Can you give them a good, through bath in some flea shampoo and see what (if anything) comes out?

I did last night, all 3 and didn't see a single flea!

I think they need to see the vet for a good check over - as PP said, other parasites can cause itchiness or it could even be something like a recipe change with their food.

We’ve been using prescription drugs monthly on puppy and cat and we still have them! Hoovering daily definitely helps as does combing daily. They are very persistent this year.

Indorex is good for the house. At the moment we can’t use it as my OH is recovering from major surgery and can’t leave the house long enough for me to treat it (he’s sensitive to the ingredients) but when he can I’ll be employing that.

This is the second time in 5 years we’ve had issues despite good prescription treatment. I may have to switch over to a seresto collar for the puppy. Fleas are very visible so if you are not seeing them by combing then it’s something else.
