Hi, can anyone recommend where we can buy a fully trained family dog from in the South uk? Ideally a year plus, rescue centres don't really have any suitable for a busy household with young kids. Seen a couple of sites but hard to know who you're buying from! We also need to consider the breed as one of our children have eczema, controlled asthma so would like to find someone who knows all about the breeds suitable etc. Thanks

This is like asking where you can adopt a fully functioning child.

Hahaha you just buy it off ebay. You are talking like this is a piece of furniture please do NOT get a dog. I guarantee you won't be a good owner

I'm not a dog fan but even I know this isn't a thing. Don't get a dog.

Is this for a pet?
A fully trained dog is only really acceptable for people who need a service animal, not someone too lazy to put the work in with a pet.

Oh, and don't buy into the poodle x being a hypoallergenic dog. They don't exist either.

^^ This
We have a cockapoo, our breeder warned us that no dog is hypoallergenic and that's the case. Our sons g/f has asthma and allergies, she can't be in our house for more than a few minutes before she starts wheezing and her eyes stream.

Not really because those exist?

A friend of mine was a residential dog trainer. She was getting so many call backs from families moaning that their perfectly trained dog had reverted to half wolf half cheeky mutt within a few months of loving spoiling/being ignored that she opened a dog day care instead.

Even service dogs need regular reinforcement - that comes by working at what they are trained for. If you take a service dog and then never put it to work you will soon just have a dog. Not a very well behaved one possibly. Training is lifelong.

I don't think that the OP is coming back.
