How many dogs do you currently have? And why that number?

We currently have four dogs - we've had more but at the moment we have four. All rescues. They are no more of a handful than two or three and there are many times when they are all having a snooze, or playing by themselves, or with each other, and we don't see them for quite a while! We wouldn't be without them.

How many dogs you do have? Would you have more at the same time? Why did you pick that many dogs?

PS: if space (and money) were no issue, we'd have many more - but keeping our place clean already takes our cleaner three hours each day, Monday-Friday!

Don't forget that dogs don't come fully formed in a non-barking non-jumping state. Grin

We are constantly looking at rescue sites... we'd love a fifth again but our car is just not big enough! But the temptation is there, and very strong...

None. I’m scared of them! Genuinely interested, how big a house/garden do you need for more than 1 dog? Surely you’d be tripping over them all the time and there would be utter chaos. No different to toddlers, I suppose…

Three bed cottage… on a farm, with a small field for a garden 😂 dogs and children are free range. They do still trio me up though, they all like to loiter around my feet especially when I’m cooking!

We have 3. All rescues. 1 is a full time medical foster for a charity we foster for though, so not essentially ours although she is treated just like our own. The other 2 were both fostered originally and we went on to adopt them. We foster normally so we always have 3 but with the medical foster puppy in for the foreseeable that's what we'll stay at, unless an emergency comes in and we are needed very short term

Five. I’ve had up to ten at once in the past. I’ve bred & shown an At Risk Native Breed for decades.

What breed is that, Darklane?
