Just for fun and to make us smile. We have a 13 week old Cavapoo. Toilet training going well for his age. But the other day he managed to pee all over my husband's bare feet and flip flops whilst the door was open for him to go and pee! I thought it was funny.....he didn't!

What's the naughtiest/funniest things your puppies have done?

We have just had a very challenging walk where the puppy at various points:-

Undid my shoelaces while I was picking up his shit, then bit my hands when I tried to re-tie them

Jumped so high that he bit a hole in the thigh of my leggings

Tried to drag me on a run when he could see our garden gate

I am flippin exhausted.

Had a chew on one of my DWs beloved cactus.I said to her we really have to put them up high. She thought no need too .So today back home after work she said how's he been doing whilst she slumped shattered on the sofa. He's been eating allsorts, chewing stuff ,sleeping ,running around the house and all after a long walk with loads of dogs to distract him I said. She said he's alright and rubbed his big brown ears.So I said keep an eye on him whilst he stuck his nose into her TV tesco pasta and I went out to sort some work stuff outside.Five minutes later screams of No leave it....get off it.... leave it.So I rushes inside.Cactus all over the floor ,bits hanging out of his mouth and DW scrambling to pick it all up.Maybe we should have gone for the pug I thought...nope I love him too much already😊

Ate Grandma's cat's dinner. Multiple times.

Friend of mine had a very naughty but gorgeous staffie
one day he let her out in the garden and noticed she was trying really hard to poo,but wasn’t having any luck
he wandered down and there was something orange poking out of her hole
he tugged and after a few minutes, out came a sainsburys carrier bag
god knows where she’d found it,as they don’t shop at sainsburys!

my sons dog eats cat shit

my daughters dog once found my cream cake that I’d hidden under my duvet as that would have been the last place anyone would have looked for it,leapt up on my bed (he’s a small breed) and scoffed the lot
only when I got home, really looking forward to it,I found the box didn’t have a mark on it but it had gone
he had creamy shits for days

We took our puppy to a relatives
house, they have dogs so said being her along. She ran off upstairs, relative said don’t worry she’s exploring I explained she’s not toilet trained fully and he still said don’t worry stay there finish your coffee. He went off to find her and she’s took a massive sloppy dump on their brand new cream carpet 🤣🤣🤣

He's a lab, so likes to eat anything and everything. He's literally ate the kids homework. Ate dds school timetable, during her first week at high school, I don't think the office lady believed me when I called. There's been a few shoe and sock casualties.

He quickly learned how to open the stairgate, which was quite funny except I swear I thought he had the gecko in his mouth, was a sock!

He's 16 months now and is getting much better though he's still a stubborn wee shit who will very rarely drop.

Springer spaniel went missing at a friends BBQ and was found with his arse hanging out of the scraps bin having eaten everything except a banana skin and some paper napkins….. wasn’t given dinner that night but was given a trip to the vets on a Sunday, at emergency callout rates ( dog was fine, my wallet and pride in him being such a ‘good’ boy was not’)

Thought we had cracked recall…. Until a low flying plane made a shadow on the beach, like a huge bird… he chased that shadow for many kilometres ( spaniels that are bred for duck hunting get very excited about anything bird like) well that was fun trying to get him back

We were having the new fence built and the electronic gates installed having just moved in so bit of chaos in front garden ( eye off the ball) Boxer puppy slipped out and up the street to the retirement village, frantic search only to find her Ladyship snuggled upside down on Petula’s floral sofa complete with the t bone from a steak that Petula had taken out of the fridge and given to ‘ the well mannered but hungry puppy’ that had arrived on her deck ….. the humiliation mixed with relief…. After that episode every time we walked past the retirement village Boxer would veer to the left wanting to go to see Petula ( Petula would often appear with a choice lamb bone or special doggie soup - that was highly nutritious and made from the best cuts of meat) . Petula became our dog sitter for many years, although the dogs always needed to go on a diet after she sat for them because Petula would ignore the food left for the dogs and the choicest cuts of meat from the organic butcher would be purchased and in large quantities! Dogs even attended Petula’s funeral … we miss her ….

The first indication that DH was ill he let the teenage pups out of the car and spaniel knocked his leg and sent him crashing to the ground, they made a bid for freedom… Springer and Boxer make beeline for the school and are found sitting with some Y5 students while they were eating their lunch outside ( not in the UK) quietly being hand fed bits of crust, crisps chocolate etc… I get an email from a colleague in my office saying ‘ I think your dogs might be onsite’ I break the land speed record to the playing fields and find spaniel is covered in a daisy chain, and regally and gently accepting hand fed treats, boxer having her head in the lap of a child enjoying being stroked in the warm spring sunshine. My blood runs cold … lawsuits, worried/ furious parents etc etc get dogs back home, sort out injured DH, barge into heads’ office to explain and head off trouble … to be told ‘ stop being so English, the kids enjoyed it, the dogs enjoyed it, where’s the harm’ no one complained ( except the kids who thought I was mean hastily removing the dogs) in fact bumped into the parent of one of the kids and it was laughed about….. but I was mortified and tbh had I been a parent I would NOT have been impressed at all

both dogs are now elderly and I promise we do feed our dogs, they are just exceptionally greedy ……

Used to chew the gussets of my dirty knickers which he would get out of the laundry and bring into the front room
He especially liked doing it in front of visitors.

Ahhh! As a parent, I'd have been jealous! As a student, completely thrilled ;D

Ellmau · 24/04/2022 23:09

DB's once stole a treat right out of the mouth of another relative's dog.

SarahSissions · 26/04/2022 11:50

how long have you got???

LoudingVoice · 28/04/2022 08:50

Ours once spotted that a complete stranger had taken a treat for his own dog out of his coat pocket so dived into this man’s pocket himself and stole the whole bag of treats 😬

Budgiesareloud · 17/04/2022 13:26

He's eaten a corn on the cob whole and cost us 2.5k for the operation to remove it and complications afterwards
SEN child dropped it on the floor and he took it in 0.2 seconds

He steals dirty underpants and bras out of the laundry basket and offers them to people over the garden gate thankfully there is another gate to block the view to the street so only posties and delivery drivers get his gifts

Also pee's on his front feet he can't seem to aim Blush

Our puppy did this. Did a drive by swipe from my plate when I got up to put the chicken bones in the bin. Luckily, he was able to throw it up again at the vet, so it was just the £200.

This was 10 days after the £200 'hot cross bun' incident.

Kat1953 · 28/04/2022 12:11

My wonderful dog, no longer with us, had a knack for stealing joints of beef and resting roast chickens.

He was always delighted with himself 😁
