Just for fun and to make us smile. We have a 13 week old Cavapoo. Toilet training going well for his age. But the other day he managed to pee all over my husband's bare feet and flip flops whilst the door was open for him to go and pee! I thought it was funny.....he didn't!

What's the naughtiest/funniest things your puppies have done?

Too many, but one of the funniest - we were eating dinner on the sofa, spag Bol. Ddog obviously fancied a bit - he got on the back of the sofa and lightning fast was in Dh's bowl, actually sitting in it. His white chest was orange for ages.

We have a beagle so everything involves either food or bad recall.

Demolished an entire box of Bakewell tarts (including all the foil wrappers) when DH went to the loo, resulting in a trip to the emergency vets on a Saturday morning.

Ate an entire painting sponge at his granddads house - which he then vomited spectacularly over my living room carpet - in five huge puddles of spongey puke.

Jumped up on the dining table when DH was eating his dinner and ate his food straight off his plate Grin

Escaped over our garden wall and into next doors' kitchen where he stole a sandwich Hmm - luckily next door is DH's cousin who just found it incredibly amusing and placed him back over the garden wall afterwards, lol.

Ran off on my FIL the first time he let him off lead (chasing a rabbit). FIL was so worried he'd lost him (he'd been shouting him for ages) so he went back to the van to see if he could find him that way - the dog was sat by the van as if to say "well, where the bloody hell have you been?!" FIL has never let him off lead since Grin

Today? Chewed through his new collar.

Overall either the time he got into dd room and ate 700g of chocolate leading to a £270 bill
Or the time he destroyed the trampoline net.

TheDogsMother · 17/04/2022 17:06

We had a Jack Russell so far too many incidents to mention. We were just laughing about one though. My elderly neighbour came into my house wearing quite a long skirt. The dog shot underneath it with his toy pheasant and wouldn't come out Blush

Roselilly36 · 17/04/2022 17:17

So many things, tore up our kitchen vinyl flooring, rolled all over my new bed and linen when he was very wet and very muddy, shoes destroyed one of each pair he could find, chewed up the spindles of the staircase, ate cat poo out of the litter tray 🤮

imovethestarsforno1 · 17/04/2022 17:29

previous dog was a legend dads mum took her for a walk and she took off nan refused to drop the lead so fell over and was dragged along the path then one day my mums mum was sat with a jam donut dog walked past managed to nab the donut without stopping nan only noticed when she went to take a bite

Trulyweird1 · 17/04/2022 17:33

Buried my mobile phone - as I was waiting to hear if DH’s flight had landed.
Chewed a hole through the toe of my boots, while I was wearing them.
Licked MIL’s birthday cake - he couldn’t quite reach to eat it.
Stole a chicken leg from a plate, covered in cling film, without removing the cling film 🤷🏻‍♀️
He’s 10 and still flips the toilet roll off the holder and makes like Andrex puppy’s evil twin ( helps he is black)
Stole my heart ❤️🥰

HeArInGhandsgirl11 · 17/04/2022 18:20

She eats my clothes daily! Pants, bras, leggings, jumper she has even ate my pencil case for work

HeArInGhandsgirl11 · 17/04/2022 18:21

Oh she also likes to rub her bump
On the kitchen floor and go back down the line giving it a good old sniff Envy

Phos · 17/04/2022 19:43

The dog I had when I was a kid once took one of those huge toblerones (the ones you only get at airports) out of a bag that was on the breakfast bar and ate the whole thing.

Another time he took all the chocolate decorations off the tree at Christmas and was found surrounded by bits of foil looking pleased with himself

Somehow he had absolutely no ill effects from it.

Letsnotargue · 17/04/2022 19:46

@Beggingforsleep

My puppy loves eating her own poo. As if that’s not bad enough I didn’t manage to get to her in time a few weeks ago and she ate one she’d just done. Then half an hour later vomited it back up on the carpet 🤢🤢🤢
Ours did that yesterday. I can’t believe dogs can be quite so gross. She was running around the house all upset because she was ill and ended up being sick in the wardrobe before I could usher her outside. Then she got diarrhoea. Bless her.

Add some pineapple to your dogs diet for poo eaters

Stops them eating it

I think I'm the quickest poo picker upper in the country, I'm so worried about him eating it!

Lots of funny stories. Good job we love them.

Somehow she managed to crap in dh’s wellie boot - he only found out when he put them on, barefooted 🤢
A previous hound came home carrying a cooked leg of lamb- we were at least 500 yards from the nearest neighbour, I never did find out where she got it from!

BaconAndAvocado · 18/04/2022 22:23

Today our 9 mo Lab destroyed my glasses......

Jagley · 18/04/2022 22:28

Just turned 1 year old cavalier has eaten 2 AirPod cases with AirPods in, half a punnet of grapes so needed a quick vet trip, a tub of butter shared with older dog, numerous flips flops and biros. We are so careful putting things away now but she still finds a way to get what she wants somehow!

justgivein · 19/04/2022 08:42

Dalmation whilst in half hour pyscho mode after two walks this morning, gave Shitzu a gentle wallop round the head.Shitzu sorted him out..he won't be doing that again I'm thinkingGrin

Bunglemom · 19/04/2022 14:55

ate half of my packet of contraceptive pills... luckily when i called the vet he wasnt too concerned as he is a male dog (would have been a visit to make pup sick if it was a girl!) he just said to make sure we hide dresses for a while... i had no idea what the hell the vet was on about until the penny dropped!

and he still doesnt cock his leg for a wee... maybe he was trying to become a lady who knows 🤣😀

PugInTheHouse · 19/04/2022 15:14

1 yo pug ate DSs friends airpods and case. He also likes eating the cat litter/poo. Never eats dog poo.

10 week old alaskan malamute chewed through my laptop charger yesterday in a matter of seconds, also eaten the 4 corners off pugpups lickimat. He also managed to climb on top of our garden wall (it's only about a metre tall at the moment). This is all whilst I am watching him. He's so fast. He also pulled the kitchen bin over this morning. It scared him so much he went and hid. He does not know his own strength.

Bayleaf25 · 20/04/2022 07:39

The worst was stealing a whole joint of cooked ham from the kitchen counter at a family member’s house! Luckily they took it quite well 🤷‍♀️

Didiplanthis · 20/04/2022 16:22

Old dog when young ( ish !) escaped from our garden popped next door went IN their house through open back door, upstairs and stole socks off their airer before bringing them back to our house.. current pup is 6 month.. has eaten 4x remote controls about 40 odd socks, 2 switch games and a switch lite, a £20 note, my custom made dental bite guard and multiple pairs of pants... oh and grapes on a Sunday (£400) had the injection at the vet to vomit. Vomited the grapes and immediately re ate them...

Didiplanthis · 20/04/2022 16:23

And yes my children ARE learning to keep doors shut and tech out of reach...

Kissifer · 20/04/2022 16:39

Oh god, sooo many!!

She bit through the BT cable that carries the internet and land line - £120 BT bill
She got into a cupboard and ripped open a huge sack of dog food! And ate loads!
she did the same to big box of washing powder, didn’t eat it but dragged it right round the kitchen!
She dragged her crate to the worktop, climbed up using the crate roof and knocked all the drying crockery down
She dug up the roots of bushes and dragged a massive muddy root into the living room making a muddy mess everywhere!
Stole my lovely new dressing gown and hid it in the crate

Why oh why do I love her so much????

LadyCatStark · 20/04/2022 17:01

Bit a hole in the wall when teething.
Has eaten 4 Sky remotes (£30 each to replace).
Runs out of the house if the front door is open to go and visit his girlfriend next door.

We now buy cheap sky remotes off eBay as we have had 4 eaten too..
