Well they more usually say bull lurcher or deer lurcher, though some mention breeding lines used - depends...
No they don't. Not in passing converstation. It's rare that people do, even in breed specific spaces, unless it's relevant.
Nothing particularly unexpected, smaller than average litter but they got the puppy that they had bred for so no big deal
So yes. Unexpected. So doesn't prove they are a good breeder or that's good breeders donr do it to make money. On this occasion they didn't.
But I mean, I’m sure you know the people I know better than me - so you’ll know about their lurchers or litters of pedigree dogs more than I do anyway
They only person talking as though they know more than everyone else is you. You are talking in absolutes. People are challenging you because you are wrong in many things you are saying.
You said some pedigree breeders dont do it to make money. You said it to challenge the fact that as said all reeders are doinf ir make money. That was your counter point. You said they sell their puppies and break even just to improve the breed. But haven't been able to provide specifics. Apart from "I know someone who didn't make a profit once".
And this is why it comes across as snobbery.
Back to my original point. Every accusation that can be levelled at some breeders of cross breeds can (and does) apply to some
Breeders of pedigree AND KC registered dogs. Plenty of both are shitty.
